For the parts of what you need to unlearn you show singles tennis aspects and then show doubles pickleball. Would the adjustments be different in singles pickleball? Would it potentially be possible to hit around some and thus would hitting more from the baseline and staying back make more sense?
@thatpickleballguy15 сағат бұрын
Singles is different much more like tennis! Passing shots still work well! Many women in womens game play from baseline. In mens game, (higher level) you see most guys close the net!

Great tips. Thank you. I've only played five times. I think the first thing I'll work on is not trying to drive the third shot. On another note, I'm also going for shots down the lane that I should probably hold off on for a while. That might be something you could address; going for high percentage shots vs. a kill shot.

Never thought a pickleball video would bring a tear to my eye. Thank you for delivering the teammate message in the kindest, most honest way. Nobody’s perfect, even the highly competitive ones who have superhuman skills. In rec play, I’ve experienced the what was thats, that was yours, and where were yous. No one needs to be reminded of their failures. I’d love to hear a few let’s gos and next times. I dish them out generously. Meanwhile, I celebrate the little victories in my head and practice skills to become that partner that everyone would die to play with. Attitude is not everything, but it goes a long way.
