@@jwork5680 Except the handling the devs want is trash. Which is why thankfully these mods exist to add more replayability. 3 games later and Ghost/EA don’t know what the player base wants despite requesting it for the last 6 years.

Imagine if it became possible to play online with other people who have the mod installed

Handling overhaul will have full compatibility in the next update, Base unite already is online compatible, so long you don't have the stance addon (the stance addon is not online compatible and for the while it can't be)

I love the simcade mod, the way a car shakes from side to side and transfers weight is just magnificent. Modders did a terrific job! Heat is just pure perfection right now.

Imagine a game with NFS customization and immersive world map, Forza handling and graphics, Gran Turismo car rendering detail, and a Midnight Club soundtrack. If you got anything to add to this, feel free.

It's funny how in nfs underground I can do powerslide after powerslide. But in vanilla heat I feel like I come to a complete stop if i even turn a corner

I have a ps2 and play UG2 on it right now, power sliding is not drifting btw just to start off in case anyone doesn't know they are different, but point is, i play a lot of UG2, and i personally don't think the drifting in that game is all that good mainly because there is no actual drifting, it's just power sliding, the game itself knows that as every time you get nitrous from a power slide it says so in the text that pops up, you can power slide and continue driving but you can't do it much or you will slow down and stop or oversteer. I have yet to see that happen in the recent games where people come to a stop from drifting and power sliding without on purpose or making a mistake.

Carbon is such iconic with racing with crew, autosculpt, shopping cart, just great during its time... Im playing on ps2 nostalgic

Much better than the original. But it's still not any better than the 2015 with unite too. The drift there with handling review is even more beautiful. You maintain 90-160km/h of drift with virtually no rolling of the car body. Depending on the car's garage settings and the type of tire, you'll be splicing turn after turn without stopping drifting. Beautiful to see and do.

Note this down EA! NOTE IT DOWN!

EA must hire the guy behind this mod, devs struggled to make good handling in nfs for decade like they don't know how cars move

I wonder woykd it would look like if unite just changed the heat drift physics back to payback drift physics, only difference is that the front tires stays countersteered through out the turn and the more angle you get then the more the tire will countersteer ...just a thought

I've played through the game twice, vanilla and modded and I can say that while modded is fun, it's much harder than vanilla driving and some cars are undrivable until you at least change the tires or turn on traction control (which kills your acceleration). Don't get me wrong, I like the challenge the mod provides, but it's for those more dedicated players

This is the drifting I want ); I’ve been staying away from off-road and drifting for this reason. Don’t see the purpose of sliding down the mountains of the options and physics of drifting is worthless. Can’t even stay on the road and just a magnet for poles and the barriers. Wish this gets sent to EA , cause this could bring nfs heat back to life.

Nowadays,we just make our game since the developers cant seem to do it.

the only thing keeping me from saying NFS heat is my favorite racing game, is the almost lazy drifting physics. you can only really drift with the rx-7, and it was really disappointing. hopefully EA takes notes from this vid

Looks fun, shame that the game looks like blurry shit with this mod on my PC (vanilla version runs at 60fps with full graphical settings with no problems).

@@Mixa-2005 Lol the 350Z NFS UG2 is there if you want the 370Z to look like NFS UG2 version basically you want the NFS TR version. And keep in mind the 370Z didn't come until 2008.

I dont know how to initiate the drift with this mod. I just played it with the normal drifting and handling and was pretty decent. but with that handling i cant do shit

Short answer : GIT GUD , long answer : first set up your car right - I usually go for 400-500hp, falken tires for lower hp cars ( read the description ) , PRO drift suspention and PRO drift differential(RWD). With this mod , there is no tap to drift mechanics anymore so you need to initiate drift more like in real life(ish) - get some speed (usually up to third gear ) then either turn in to corner , yank the handbrake for a second , and slam on the gas ( and pray ) OR turn away from the corner while releasing the gas , then back in to a corner slaming on the gas ( scandinavian flick) . good luck

@@lawree374 There is no tap tp drift in the normal game, that is if you switch options, also, most of what you described is exactly what you do in the base game anyway so the actual difference in the initiation, which the person is having the issue with, not the drift itself.
