I want one for my car for hill starts. I live in a hilly area and get stuck in traffic on hills often. This would be perfect for me

i would suggest duel brake calibers so you can run the hydro e brake and the stock e brake

I need to put one of these in as well. I ordered a cusco one. What size thread did u go with? Also I've seen some where it's a pressed for instead of adding threads m. Do u know if I will need to add threads with cusco?

I would put electrical tape thinly placed over the 2 halves to reduce rattling and then put the cover over. That rattling would annoy the shit outta me lol. Cool e brake cover though👍

I used the same size and thread pitch as the knob. If you don’t then it wont work. You can find the tool at harbor freight or your local parts store.

I didnt see u take a spring out, so why doesnt it just work like oem, instead of pushing up on button and pulling handle up

Chris Santos it’s meant to lock into position so that the e-brake can just fall down. One quick action and done

@@srt_392__ so if i just take button off and screw new one on, it won't work like OEM, i will still have to pull up on button to lock it

Chris Santos only the drift knob works like this. I was using a aftermarket e-brake handle and a separate drift knob. If you use a regular aftermarket handle then it will work just like stock

Cliff sorry it easy when you use the tap and die set. It is very easy to do, that’s why I didn’t show it. $20ish tool.

lol okay ill try to figure it out, hopefully its straightforward... okok im just whining because i actually had no idea how threads on stuff were made... never seen the tool and couldnt comprehend that it could be done manually by a human being. On a separate note, Do they make this manual threading tool for larger 3"+ plastic or steel pipes??
