There’s a sketch from a tv show we have here, the show is called Burnistoun and there’s a sketch where a “Scottish” actor is out to dinner with an American girl, she’s coming over his Scottish accent which has started to fade, only for their waiter to be proper Scottish and slags fuck out the so called Scottish actor. Every time I see that sketch, I think about Drew lol

Listen, as much as we don’t understand fuck all about the Scottish language…it’s still one of many of the most hilarious accents on Earth, especially when Scots banter with one another in the most creative ways possible just like anyone else across the pond whether you’re an Englishmen/woman, Irish or any other sub-accents.

Even in his original run I didn’t think he was hard to understand lol he must’ve worked on that early on. Would be cool for his character if when he gets angry he starts talking in a thicker accent that is Americans wouldn’t understand haha.

hahaha that's what I say too. Wish he didn't soften his Rs as much, it makes him sound a bit pansy SOMETIMES, and doesn't fit with his brute persona. Have to say though, his weird accent is unique and sets him apart from anyone else, and the reality is he's one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Him, Cody, Orton, Seth, MJF, Stratton, Rhea and Jade are the absolute gold standard, and he deserves it.
