Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t...

@billsalcido7878 I agree panning is panning and a sluice is a sluice no matter who your watching , but the thoughts on a certain area or a reason he don't worry about loss being explained to us newer prospectors is worth a lot more than your negative road apples

Your videos make the day better. I live in a state that doesnt have any measurable gold. I cancelled cable 7 years ago, so instructional videos are my go to. I have watched as many of your videos as I can. I also enjoy Paulie, Dan Hurd, Jeff Williams, and many more. If I ever get the chance, I feel I am way ahead of the game. I also truly enjoy opal hunters.

Thanks for the video. I heard recently a theory that a 2.2 magnitude earthquake was enough to bring metals and minerals from the Earths mantle up in to the crust. That would mean gold is always replenished somewhere. You look really happy filming this. That is what attracts hard core viewers seeing someone enthusiastic about what they are doing and being informative along the way. Greatly enjoy firsthand view.

I love watching your videos. The sounds of you working, shovel digging, dirt hitting the pan /sluice /high banker/ bucket. And much more are the things I like most. However watching you with your mates and of course Fern, is enjoyable. The fact that you show the gold is nice. And am glad you get something in return for the hard work. You have put so much time in your videos. And I appreciate the time you spend. I am thankful you don't have music covering up the natural sounds of the work. Or that you don't cut out the work and just show you talking. This is why I have watched your videos over and over again.

Way to go, Chris. I live in a very similar area. Fine micros, but the further I go upstream, the bigger the bits get. I am finally on very good ground. It's taken 1 year to find this ground. I thank you very much as I have only been in to the prospecting for a year. You have taught me so much-needed knowledge of how, what, and where to look, I have also built all my own gear as I am not financially well off. IE: yabbie pumps, crevicing tools, river sluice, mini high banker, trommel! I have recovered from some health problems, depresion , blah, blah, blah! I watch as many Aussie u tubers as possible, like , comment, and subscribe. Thank you for sticking it out, dude. ❤it keep punching 😊

This is a great format as well as interesting content, Chris. Glad you've been able to make content as your primary occupation for so long. That's a great achievement in its own right. With "the waterfall," do you replace the large rocks to create traps for later flood events or does their presence not make a difference in terms of a gold concentrator?

Everything seems to get heavier as you get older. Having said that, after shoveling the materials into the bucket. Add plenty of water and agitate the material for a bit with a stick then stir until the material is spinning freely. Once the spinning is complete remove all the material, EXCEPT for the lower 1-2cm out of the bucket. All the heavies will have been dropped to the bottom. That should be all that needs to be carrier for processing. Used the bucket as a big classifying washing machine.
