Thank you Chris for another enjoyable and adventurous time out in the bush! It is great to know that when I am struggling with the CPTSD, I can come and watch one of your videos, and knowing that you struggled the same, I can sort of ride on your coattails as you’re out there, working that and get a sense of relief from you. I hope this makes sense.

Fantastic episode Chris and Gadzee! Very fun and entertaining. Loved the smoky quartz. Can't wait for a sequel to this video. I was supposed to get a puppy in June, but didn't get there in time. But I've decided when I do find one that I'm going to name him Sir Gadsden, and call him Gadzee. I lost my little puppers Brat in December, she was 13. And I really miss having a companion.

Chris, that is a lot of gold, rocker box or not! Nicely done. The ribbed carpet (aka indoor/outdoor carpet), in my experience, catches gold that other highbankers miss. So much so, that I use a highbanker 1.5M extension with nothing but ribbed black carpet from the Dollar Store. The extension is 2 extra long boot trays with ribbed carpet. There is always fine flour gold in it, and usually more than I expect. If anyone can't afford rubber sluice matting, I highly recommend using 2 layers of ribbed carpet. It catches gold, and gets rid of unecessary junk very well. The finished product is excellent.

I think when people ask "what do you earn prospecting?" they are mostly thinking "what would I make prospecting?", it´s not personal. As in many things in life, the decision to "scratch with the chickens" or "soar with the eagles" is up to the individual, and you show (in your different videos) both potential ways to get a living.

@ Chris or anyone who knows.... Recently I used a GARRETT PRO to find gold in the bench above a creek that had gold in it 40 years ago. It read 80+ (silver?) at most spots, some spots were 42+ (gold?) All were 8"+ deep from the top ground level. Could the gold have originated from the bench and washed down to the creek? Could it be worth my time and effort to dig these targets up? 40 years ago, I found flat, confetti sized gold there but a hurricane washed it all away.
