The comic is apparently boring and contains character owned by Sega. I don’t know if Ken Penders can do that legally…

If Dreamworks Animation are planning to make video game movies they need to revive some of the cancelled video game movies that was never fully finished development so that it deserves to be released in theaters
The one thought that crossed my mind when I saw this: they should try and restart development on the PVZ movie! I'm disappointed that never saw the light of day.

Don’t see why not. They’re masters of the book adaptation genre, so I’m sure they can try out with the video game adaptation genre as well. Especially since they did try once with Plants vs. zombies. So DreamWorks, work your magic!

First off, I like your new intro music. And, personally, I'm pretty excited about this. If they can turn Captain Underpants into one of my favourite superhero films ever, and a bunch of classic fairy tales into a major franchise, I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do with video games. I'm just hoping they do video games I know of. Like Plants vs Zombies. I'm a huge fan of that series and have been waiting for a film/TV adaptation of it for ages.

I do know there is something about Pac-man getting an adaptation going on. I don't know what company is behind it, but if there is no one behind it, Dreamworks should take that place. They could make a great Pac-man movie.

There is no video game movie I want more than an animated one adapting the Mega Man X games. The closest thing we have is a 25-minute one-shot OVA.
I do wish that Dreamworks had gotten the reigns to do the Mario movie instead of Illumination as fun as what we got was, hell I wish they or Sony Animation got to do the Zelda movie as well. Would personally be down to see them do Kirby or even Fire Emblem.

Tim Schafer once mentioned that a few people have approached him because they wanted to turn psychonauts into a series/film/etc. but he declined because he thinks Psychonauts has already peaked as a game.
They should make a movie adaptation of Sly Cooper! There was a trailer of a Sly Cooper movie years ago, but it was ultimately cancelled for some unknown reasons. If they partner up with Sony in some way (and also have them remember the series), then they should give it a shot at bringing it back in movie form!

Now many want a piece of the cake. Especially since the success of the Mario Movie, which grossed $1.36 billion at the box office. It was clear that others would now follow.
