At an upcoming animation film festival, Warner Bros Discovery is highlighting a bunch of new projects - including the Gumball reboot! We're also getting answers about Cartoon Network Studios, Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, and Warner Bros Animation. What can we expect from new Gumball episodes?

It's not a reboot, it's a continuation of the same cartoon. It's counted as a new season. Technically it was never canceled either. This is important information because it *should* feel the same.

Idk if anyone’s pointed this out yet but the poster uses the season 2 designs rather than the season 3+ designs of the main cast. You can tell due to the eyes. I’m super exited for Gumball to come back!

I’m scared when stuff gets premiered in film festivals. It feels so exclusive and might not be publicly released. This happened before.

If it's season 7 of the original series, then it might show up on Hulu, since the clip show specials are on Hulu and not H̶B̶O̶ Max, and new Rick and Morty episodes go to Hulu before H̶B̶O̶ Max. However, it might be produced as a legally-distinct seperate series

Yay! Gumball’s coming back! I love The Amazing World of- wait a minute, reboot? First, they told us they would be a sequel series that’s tied in to the original series through the yet to be made a movie. Then they said it was instead going to be a seventh season. Now you’re telling us it’s going to be a reboot?! I don’t know what to believe anymore! Which is it going to be?!
