Exceptionaly good movie, interesting story line, very good acting and most important happy ending.

I love these movies I also think maybe I will be speaking the language by next year I was born in Poland been in England 55yrs I notice polish words coming into these movies only small words ❤

Nice Piazzolla tango theme somewhere at the beginning! And an excellent film, of course! Thank you!👍♥️ It's interesting how family patterns reproduce themselves! Oxana fell in love with the his father's young colleague, Borya, because her father was too old for her age, much older then her mom. Young girls need a role model in their father, and if a father cannot be considered as that, because of age difference, etc., girls find another, younger "father substitute" for themselves. Then they tend to really fall in love with him. If the affair ends up well, the new couple will have the same family pattern as the parents: a young bride with an older guy. And this is what happened in the story, although Igor Petrenko doesn't look any older at the énd than at the beginning 😀

😮8 and 25!!! There'll always be that huge age difference even when she does grow up!!!

The more I watch Russian movies the more I realize it’s a potpourri language. There are words from various Romance languages, like noche, the mom told the lil girl good night and I heard noche. The guy asked his mistress if she wanted to blackmail him, for blackmail he used the word chantage which is French word for blackmail, Russian may not be as difficult as I imagined it to be... Unbelievable, our God the creator is absolutely amazing! At 20:53 they said spokoyney noche, eng sub said goodnight... too bad I don’t have the time to learn Russian, it would be an exciting adventure, I really love the way it sounds.

Since I was trained in odessa in 1974, so we had picked up lots of Russian language so much so we had started conversing with our Instructors in broken Russian Technical language. I loved Russia then and even now my love has not diminished with its language and its beautiful people. By chance I find that there are many lovable Russian movies with English subtitles. I liked the movie with the drug menace and its effect on young school going children and the efforts of single mother trying to deaddict her son. Very heart touching movie. And also the comedy movie in which a Canadian visits his ancestoral village and the carefree attitude of the simpleton villagers.

Look at the fish in the tank at minute 1 to 2. It is basically a torture filmed within the movie. Just imagine being a human in the same situation. It would be about time that at least the russian film makers got more civilized. And I have even seen worse - animals being killed in movies for the pleasure of viewers. Thumbs down to this one is the least I can do.

Feel sorry for Borya, he's a good husband but Vika just messed things up. Having baby from his boss and married the lawyer for the sake of the baby, why? Unfair :( :(

Yeah. I was expecting her to cry out, at the wedding, "Don't you get it? The baby isn't yours, I lied the whole time!!" as another Blonde once did... ;-)

Good movie, Thanks for the upload. Both actresses playing Oksana were MARVELOUS. Had they all been properly Vegan it would have been Perfect. By the way, where in Russia was it filmed? That Lake looks so Beautiful...

Crappy English subtitles as in all Russian movies the English translation is very inaccurate,but the movie was ok.

They managed in very stupid way the aging of the characters. Everybody stayed the same only the young girl grew up

The theme is very interesting but there is something that doesn't work, at the end of the movie they are looking in a video some files from a CD and in it appear the scene where he died. How could it film this scene and guard it inside the electrical box?. That doesn't have sense.
