The most talented musicians of the entire award show and they get one interview from a chick who has no idea who they are. And to top it off they don't win a grammy, because the foo fighters win every rock category. I'll put money that the voters for the metal category never even listened to DT. These guys deserve so much more recognition after 26 years of amazing masterpieces. The grammys remind me of high school, one big popularity contest. Rock on DT, rock on.

I am actually glad that Dream Theater does not fit these type of industry, its a place where music is only a vehicle to make money and not the opposite, making money to keep doing what they love and dreamed of doing. They are in a world they invented themselves, they are free to be creative they way they can...Also it is very good to be a part of something different from the rest of the world, to know how to enjoy something so beautiful and complex that most of people cannot understand.

Kinda sad when non-mainstream bands try to get recognition like this. Dream Theater is very popular & pretty much Mainstream in the Prog Metal world but they are unknown to the general music crowd who are really into The Grammys. But I realize it's a business and it's a good opportunity to advertise.
