Disappointment in plus size clothing has brought me to tears more times than I can count. I've hated shopping for clothing for myself, and everything seems so expensive for cheap replaceable clothing.
I want clothing that looks good on me...how can that be done without having to go to a professional seamstress?
The thought of pinning clothing to myself seemed painful and I know my imperfect body has made this a difficulty in the past. So here is a dream project becoming a reality...My own form in cloth!!!

It has been alot of prayer that's for sure. This is the biggest project I've ever challenged myself to do. I've learned alot through it.

Did you read the instructions on how many pieces you needed to start with. And what the seam allowance is for the seams. Your dressform might not be the correct size now. As someone just starting in the sewing, reading all the information beforehand can help with not making those mistake

I plan to try it on by pinning it to myself. I know I've made mistakes I will do my best to correct them. But, yes I spent a month researching and reading the instruction. All we can do is attempt the project, and correct as we go. Nothing is absolutely perfect, but if we get close, that is good enough. Also my mother in law is a professional seamstress, she has offered to help me if I get stuck, so I am not alone in this new world of sewing lol.
