  It has been alot of prayer that's for sure. This is the biggest project I've ever challenged myself to do. I've learned alot through it.

  Did you read the instructions on how many pieces you needed to start with. And what the seam allowance is for the seams. Your dressform might not be the correct size now. As someone just starting in the sewing, reading all the information beforehand can help with not making those mistake

  I plan to try it on by pinning it to myself. I know I've made mistakes I will do my best to correct them. But, yes I spent a month researching and reading the instruction. All we can do is attempt the project, and correct as we go. Nothing is absolutely perfect, but if we get close, that is good enough. Also my mother in law is a professional seamstress, she has offered to help me if I get stuck, so I am not alone in this new world of sewing lol.

  I became allergic to gel. Now I put 2 coats of clear over my base, that way if I have to wipe off a mistake, I don't erase my base.

  It was little...enough to let you know that we as human beings, control so little of the world. California has bigger quakes, and look what happened in Taiwan this week. The eastern seaboard has not built its cities to earthquake standards like California or Japan. If there is one ring of fire on the Westcoast, could there be a possibility of a second ring on the eastern side as well? 🤔

  I thought is was a 18 wheel truck passing our house, but the rumble was very deep. I just felt in my gut that it was a quake. So we ran out side. Did you see that NYC city official state that they where told to stay in doors?! I thought you try to get away from buildings asap.

  She is our sweet rescue. I've never had a dog before, because of being bit by one as a child. But Dessie has just been amazing, and I can't imagine our family without her.

  They can be found on Ebay. Make sure it is for your machine though. Joy rubbers are smaller in diameter then the Maker rubbers. Found that out the hard way. 😄

  @@theshabbyrose Well! When I don't know where to turn for services in my neighborhood, I go on Next Door and ask for recommendations: In your case you could ask "Looking for hairdresser who works miracles with long hair needing layers." Just a thought! Have a great day!
