Is Netflix making bad shows on purpose? I mean yeah.. well just watch the video but yeah they are. Especially Dream Home Makeover.. it is very bad. I saw the other day they're making a live action Barney movie... did I get kicked in the head by a horse or has Barney NOT BEEN LIVE ACTION ALL ALONG?? Anyways yeah watch and enjoy the garbage that is Dream Home Makeover.

Tropical, paint some water on floor, with a sandbar, have a bed with a canopy with part of it on the water. Make the wood look like tiki torches. Add some tropical trees on the walls with a sunset wall mural. Maybe add a humidifier with a essential oils machine with some tropical scent. Bam, that would be my plan scribbled over a lunch break. Throw some fake plants in the corners.

Much like any streaming thing, *coughs* KZread, the oversaturated market makes it easy to make cheap throaway content. Like, having had nothing to do without a car, I have this past year discovered the seemingly inescapable void that is "commentary channels". Chris doesn't have (yet) 100k subs, yet compared to a lot of the bigger subbed commentary people, his stuff is very well put together, and I have a feeling he's mostly doing the heavy lifting on his own. So many can't edit their own stuff, which that's like a writer who can't do basic proofreading, and despite having someone edit for them, it's still garbage content. Also, Chris has a chill subtlety with his approach, instead of trying too hard to be an animated over the top cartoon character or something.

I’ve seen more creative and entertaining content from small YT creators working with no money or crew than 99% of Netflix original programming. I’m really blown away by the high production value some creators are able to achieve. But even those who are primarily commentators, there’s a lot of variety and educational value even though they don’t have a roomful of writers. I wish Netflix would fund some of these smaller channels (not the family vlogglers, but those with real talent) instead of shelling out millions to create the same stupid stuff over and over again.

That room was such miss, I mean come on. I really feel like the hugely modernized north coast California look, with all that white and highly showroom stylized simplicity is in part due to her not looking into other places. Like her Mormon personality has this belief she knows better, and her Husband ugh... he gets away with not doing anything because he's the Head of the Household. I just think these two don't have the proper grasp of the real world, so they really don't have the knowledge or experience of better designer's, it's going to cause a problem. They should probably focus on their kids and find other outlets for their business.
