In this video I have drawn the portrait of great mystic Sadhguru Ji using a freehand sketching approach which is mainly about understanding the visual measurements of relative features in a human face. Generally, people go for tracing the outlines when it comes to drawing portraits but tracing is not going to help you develop your judgmental abilities when it comes to drawing from observation or from a reference image. Here you can see the whole process from start to finish that how I started with visual measurements for understanding the structure of Sadhguru Ji’s face and then gradually added more features and finetuned them in order to capture more likeness.
