Hi Bradwynn. I’m going on 58 and I have always wanted to sketch. I eventually learned some photography and over the years would take a stab at doodling a tiny head or two. They always looked amazing, like little caricatures with their unique features and personalities. Then in May 2018 I had a stroke and lost all my dexterity in my right hand. I had to learn to feed myself, and traced the alphabet off dollar tree workbooks for preschool children. I learned to pull items hurried in play-doh, and flip mouthwash cups and eventually I was able to snap my fingers on that hand and ignite a fireplace lighter. These were milestones for me. I’ve come a ways since then, at least with my dexterity problems and want to finally make my dream of sketching come true. And after watching many artists on KZread I’ve decided to follow your teachings and tutorials. Your style of teaching is so relaxed and down to earth and never boring or stuffy. I agree you are amazing and refreshingly humble. Thank you for your service to the art world. Ima believer. Hope your mom is better. Godspeed!

As usual Bradwynn you are amazing man. So many nuances you explain so well. I have drawn this view thousands of times and it is strange what you bring out that really helps me dial it in. Would love to see a 3/4 view and focus on the eye placement with the Reilly method. Keep up the great work

Hi Bradwynn, I'm now bored with painting landscapes & want to get into figure work. Thanks so much for this demo on how to accurately sketch the planes of the head. It makes so much more sense than how I was originally taught. You are great in explaining the reasoning involved which only makes this method more understandable. Thanks so much for sharing & I look forward to more of your demos.

It has always amazed me how proportions of the Human Body flow together with the Face, the body, as well as our Limbs. I think OUR Creator, in a way, kept it simple, on the outside! However, inside is where it gets pretty gnarly!! Thank You Bradwynn for all your hard work uploading your videos and helping me become a more proportionate and better artist. We NEVER STOP LEARNING. @BRADWYNN JONES I see that from your brow line to the bottom of the sphere is in 4 equal parts. And you get your nose by 1 part up. But my teacher has been teaching to use thirds for everything. So from my brow line to the bottom of the sphere i divide that into 3 parts. Which makes my features abit smaller to yours. Which is the correct way? Have I been doing it wrong this whole time? So confused…
