Haha listening to the conversation in the background is hilarious 😂 I ABSOLUTELY love these type videos, they’re so relaxing 😊

The clown guy sounded so much like @RachhLoves 's husband that I had to turn up the volume and listen in to determine if it was really him 😂 Alas, he is a lawyer, not a clown.
i love listening to the convo's it adds so much life to the video

Righttt I was more focused on that than the video tbh 😭😭
Okay but listening to conversations in the background is the best part xD 👀
As a people watcher and art lover, I absolutely love this style of video 😂 so cool to watch you progress through these beautiful pieces and hear the conversations in the background ❤
The quality of this art is impeccable. Great job!
Love your art, and also love the random cafe chatter in the background. It’s like we’re there with you. 😊
Hi Chris! It's great to have you back!! Thank you for keeping the snippets in real time! It makes a huge difference in the "pacing" of the video; there are way too many time lapses and sped up videos already, so this is a treat to watch. It helps me relax, and remind me that creating art is nothing like the sped up timelapse videos we see often.
Love the ambient cafe noise and the sounds of the markers is so relaxing!
I always feel I need to talk in my videos but it then doesn’t always balance with the ambient and music I’ve selected; this encourages me that I don’t have to; especially when exhausted from the side hustle (dog walker ) so while you speak in other videos it encourages me to just create the videos I want to create; and that long as people find it there could still be an audience for it. Love how you stylise the art while having the essence of the subject reference; I have an art shorthand but I wish it was even more stylised. All in all inspired for where to take my art, channel and how to fit it in with life :) 😊 happy to dip back into your videos and discover the cafe series. Off to a cafe with the doggo later today (our 3 day weekend 😴 much needed) 🎨🥰
Fantastic value control, perfect example of "if your values are spot on you can use whatever color you want"
I love the real ambient cafe noise. Just reminds me that I’m very snoopy because I would so be following along with their conversation if I was sitting in that cafe too. 😂
I've never thought of using light-colored Bics! That's such a great idea.
Please keep the blocking stage in 😊 I love seeing how you draw and I don't mind the shakiness at all ! Great to have you back 😻
Hi! I enjoy watching you draw with the noise in the background of the café. I think the blocking in of each drawing is important because it is the foundation of what is coming next. Thank you for bringing us with you. ☕
I love the colours you’ve used for these drawings 😊
So relaxing, hypnotics your Coffee videos love it. ✨ And I love your drawings here and the colors.. especially the last one perfil with the pinks and blues and the face so beautiful 💖🙏🏻
I used to walk by that Jimmys coffee every week for school. Cozy place
Hello hello, i love these cafe videos. 😁👍
I really appreciate seeing the block in stage! Even though it's shaky, I like to see how other people make choices about proportions.
I love these types of videos! Also love that you show the full block-in process. It helps me learn :)
Glad you felt like venturing out again! I personally enjoy the blocking as much as anything else. A favorite is hard to pick, but if I had to choose just one, I suppose it would be the last one. I think the shading on her face is lovely. Take good care of yourself! 😊
Yes, we missed you! Welcome back 😊 Hope you've been well. Also, LOVE your hair.
Good to sse you here again!!!! ❤
can't believe you're baaaaaack!!!!❤ i missed this videos so much!!! they're so much fun, i love it
YES we missed you! So nice to just sit and work while having your Cafe hop series playing 😊
I love the drawing in cafe’s series.
Yes I missed you! Please make these videos more often!
Oh and I like the 3rd/last portrait……..love its strait forward gritty pallette:D. I like how you move away from the reality and pick bold saturated colors. Very playful and pleasant to the eye.
Loved watching 🥰 keeping the whole blocking in process is cool!
I just love that intuition you have with colors! It always comes out looking amazing.
yes, I missed your Cafe Hop Diaries series so much! I'm happy to watch a new video from you, thanks a lot
i am so drained at the moment so my usual videos where people are always saying stuff to the camera is now overwhelming and so in times like these i usually watch art or craft videos and everytime i did i would watch them like im being educated, i take mental notes, watch vids that give tips etc, but because of my iffy relationship with art at the moment and it being the reason im so drained, i cant even watch those; so i was hesitant to watch this because it was just more art and the thought of art makes me stressed again, but the chatter in the background and the no talking and the absolute silence at times matched with the satisfying strokes of a marker really calmed me, this is exactly the type of videos i need now, they entertain me while using minimum brain power to have to focus on what the person is saying. thankyou so much, keep up the great work, you are such a skilled artist i love it!!
I like to see more of the block-in stage because as a beginner artist I found this part very instructive.
SHE'S BACK!!!!
I enjoy these drawing videos out in public places as I myself love to draw at my local coffee shop, it's my way of relaxing and chilling out, put on my music, a nice hot cup of coffee and working on a drawing.....Heaven!! My only criticism is the background noise of conversations was annoying, other vloggers block out all that noise so it surprised me that you actually left it in, but I suppose it's all down to personal choice. Definitely give you a like, not a fan of the background noise, but i love the art!! 😊
Love your drawing-in-café videos 😍 such a cozy vibe and your art always turns out so beautifully!
I love this format so much x x
One of my favorite videos so far! ❤

Excellent.
Wow, you're in TO now!! I came across your art a few years ago but lost track of you and then recently recognized your work while scrolling through SkillShare. I was so excited to have found you again! I'm loving this cafe thing you're doing ... being from TO myself (now in Mtl), I thought I'd share a couple of great spots in case you'd be interested. If you should ever be so inclined, here are 3 of my fave independents each with a super chill ambience and fantastic coffee and home-baked goodies: The Merchants of Green, Red Rocket, and The Only Cafe. The Only has a great roof top retreat for hanging out. I hope you're enjoying TO!
YOU'RE BACKK YAYY
I like your block in stage! Keep it in
Yayyy ur back! 😁😇💜

Thank you for your art videos…❤Hong, I like the block in method, because it helps me to follow you through the process so I can better understand how you feel the proportions …u make it super easy 😊and this is my first time comment 😊

Which colors did you take with you? I want to sketch portraits on the go too!!
How do you choose the colors to use? Loving your style.💚💚💚 Started your skillshare class today 😊
Absolutely beautiful work! Can you tell me the on line photo reference source you are using, looks amazing omg? Thank you.
Hey Chris! I love your work and I enjoy these videos so much, I have started trying to film my process as well and I would love to do this at cafes as well but the filming setup is a mistery to me, do you have any recommendation on this? I am mostly unsure what to look for when it comes to tripods,,, Great video, super relaxing!
Loved that first one. Nice to examine your technique. But time for bed! Thanks 🙏 very much. Regards from an old Scot.
I just watched through the series :D I noticed you added more b-roll(?) like you mentioned in previous videos, it's very nice I'm watching while drawing too, it's keeping me focused Wonderful art, pleasing to watch :] !!
Good to see your art again. What sort of work have you been up to? Any exciting projects?

Love your art! Thanks for sharing! I am curious: what colored markers are you using? Kisses from Brazil
Chris, is so nice to have you back

i definitely use the lighter colours more than the darker ones, but the darker ones do come in handy once in a while! :D It helps to have as many as possible when it comes to markers I think haha. Thank you for your comment! :) I'll still make chatty videos, just trying to figure out the best way to approach them!
