I know you said you wished you had stopped earlier but I love the mixed texture of colored pencils and watercolor! Both them and the markers really did add that extra layer of juicy detail. ✨

Very cute design, loving the fashion (I think the hanging bits off of the tank top might be garters). The style is definitely giving Bratz doll crossed with Chris Saunders’ personal work (but less busty😊). If you’re thinking about exploring fashion I just saw a post of this 80 yo Taiwanese couple who create fashionable outfits from the clothes left at their laundromat, they have a fresh mix of prints and aesthetics😁

i really love this, it feels like a breath of life and fun inbetween all of the studies and portraits. i do agree that adding more stuff into the drawing was unnecessary as it appeared roughly similar to the earlier sketch, but who hasn’t done that to their art that was supposed to be a simple drawing😵‍💫regardless i love seeing your style and hope to see it more!

Very cool. Amazing coverage by the white pencils, I have never achieved that in my own art... Also, what paper are you using? It looks incredibly smooth and white compared to normal water color paper.

When going into the rendering, are the darker values created using the same colors as the base layer but with more pigment? Or do you mix in a certain color to darken the value?

I think it can be both, since watercolour is layerable that way! I focus less on what colours I'm using and more on the end result, thinking in terms of values and colour temperature :) but probably for the most part using the same colour as the base and adding onto that since that keeps things simple and presumably those mixes are already on the palette!

It is perky which adds power although I don't like the shoes because now she can wear boots and be less perky and more ambitious especially if she is interested in travel. She could have a shoulder bag like the new Coach Charlotte.
