Jonathan Patterson I think it was a celebrity drawings episode? Originally it was something like “Stars - they’re just like us”, then one of the others added “who needs ‘em?” Then “we all have ‘em”

Suggestion: Julia Bob Ross. She draws an ever more complex scene while the everyone else follows along without seeing what she is drawing. We only see her scene with everyone else's as a big reveal at the end

Bilbo actually didn't really tell anyone where he went, he just came back with a big chest full of treasure and let everyone make shit up. He wrote the book but he just gave it to Frodo who didn't really tell anyone else either. Also Bilbo kept getting visited by Dwarves and Gandalf for years and everyone though he was weird.

Lol I find that kinda funny. While I know it's certainly not book accurate, I just imagine a grizzled tired Bilbo returning home with his treasure and yelling, "Take some shit and get out of my house. "Prince Charmander" is fantastic wordplay.

This will get buried in other comments but just wanted to say that its been so fun following this channel for a long time, especially seeing the developement of karina. She went from sometimes visiting and being very quiet to opening up and joking and giggling through out the episodes and it just makes my heart warm

Hey here’s another challenge idea I’m calling the Layer Cascade: So for example Nathan will start a drawing of Elmo (random character?). After an arbitrary amount of time Karina will stop him and say Spheal, then Nathan must make a new layer and use what he’s already got to turn the drawing into Spheal. Repeat with Jacob's and Julia's interruptions. The end result for each of you should be four layers deep and end up kind of resembling what the last person said. Layers because it’ll be funny to look at half a drawing.

Monsters with different skeletons wouldn't be able to move like people could and mocap actors train very hard to imitate animals. That makes sense to me, since in the region of the Alps where I come from the Beast is a dragon straight up! I looked up the version Julia used here ("Belle Rose", by Henri Pourrat) and it's from Auvergne, in south-central France

PLEASE draw Twin peaks characters you've never heard of. Some suggestions: The woodsman, a dirty bearded man who asks people for a light and then violently crushes their skulls. The arm, a dancing little person in a red suit who evolves into an electricity tree. Philip Jeffries, an FBI agent who gets too involved with the spirit world and turns into a giant metallic tea kettle. The log lady, an old lady who recieves psychic advice from a log she carries around.

STOP I only watched 3 episodes of Twin Peaks

"In the original pokemon book, which is a lot darker in tone." I mean you said it as a joke, but the Pokemon Manga is like infinitely darker than any of the games or tv shows.

Lol, yeah it’s darker, I used to read the manga a lot in middle school. It still had a lot of wholesome stuff in it too though! From what I remember it usually only got dark during the final villain battles though, so over all not too bad! It usually didn’t have much blood!

Tove Jansson, otherwise known as the creator of Moomin actually illustrated some of the hobbit books and their covers. It’s so cool that Moomin came up coincidentally in this episode! I love Moomin and I love Drawfee!💖💗

Random idea that I had to share: y'know how the original Incredibles DVD came with a bonus disc with a bunch of extra supers listed in the bonus material? Give each other however much information you'd like on them and draw whatever you come up with!

Debatable. Haunter lifted his…soul, or consciousness, or something…out of his body after a falling chandelier knocked him out, but a little later Brock and Misty were begging him to wake up and I gotta think at least Brock would know to check for a pulse. And then when he goes back into his body it doesn’t seem to have been damaged by lack of oxygen, so he must have been breathing. I always thought it was just an out-of-body experience. …Then again none of the kids (Brock included) thought of checking for a pulse a few episodes previously when they were all on that raft and Pidgeotto had just fished Team Rocket out of the ocean…

I love the way Drawfee does their Patreon ads, they’re so relaxing and compelling

My favorite thing about challenge episodes is that no matter how wildly off the artist is from the prompt, everyone concludes with "You were REAL close!"

I’m almost certain the muppet like illustration Julia was talking about comes from Tove Jansson’s illustrations for a Finnish/Swedish publication of the Hobbit! She is also the creator of Moomin, so Karina was closer than she thought!

For some reason the line about Gollum's eyes shining like lanterns always stood out to me when I read LotR because I just imagined movie gollum with headlights for eyes. I started cackling the minute I heard the description.

You should draw some benders of elements of the periodic table!! Such as Mercury bender, Sulfur bender, or Gold bender.

So is this a karma attack on Julia, since whenever she is on a Pokemon drawing episode she *never* draws a Pokemon? Because these were all from flippin' famous books, and everyone kept drawing dang-blasted Pokemon!!

15:00 I thought of another name: Chewer on the Peaks - sometimes called “Peak-Chew.”

Julia being excited to do a literature-based episode and then Nathan standing behind her with his eyes glowing getting ready to turn this into a Pokémon episode.

Suggestion: listen to a dubbed voice over of famous cartoon characters and draw what you think they look like

I like how in the movie they interpreted "yellow fur" as "a regular polar bear but very dirty"
