I just love how the first song kinda reflects Drawcias feelings in the fight with you It starts with her just thinking that Kirby can’t beat her and she’s calm and menacing like the Music but when she is defeated it goes more to a fast and confused or angry style because drawcia is litterally just a demon from hell at this point

Really nice hearing Drawcia Sorceress get some love since it hasn't gotten a treatment of the classic Kirby Fanservice yet, your cover of the song was insane The Drawcia Soul cover completely nails the chaos of the original song, I can tell you put a ton of heART into it, I almost forgot about the scary nature of the original fight because of how much I got into your cover

Huh, now that I think about it, Canvas Curse never really gets a mention much anyone. Guess since Drawcia and the balloon ability are the only original feeling things from that game, it would be kinda hard to do.

Well, the fight itself was reused in Sectonia Soul in Triple Deluxe, but I know what you mean

Drawcia started a major trend in Kirby bosses since the game came out and never gets enough credit for it. Who knew a little DS spinoff would do so much? Glad to see it get justice.

In my opinion Drawcia seems to be the most eldritch kirby villain... Say what you will about giant flying world-ending bloody eyeballs... But there's just something incomprehensible about drawcia that other villains don't have. For 1, she literally warped matter, in likely the whole universe, into a painting, something that has likely not been reversed in said timeline. There's also the fact that her theme is the only theme original to kirby canvas curse (outside of "world of drawcia" though that's more-less ambient noise then music.) And I swear, even then, her theme sounded completely alien compared to the rest of the game... (maybe outside of that last level but eh?) And, that's not even talking about her second phase, which literally has no in game sprite, as "drawcia soul's sprite" to my knowledge is effectively multiple layers, having her eyes and mouth on a separate layer, making a "copy and paste" of her sprite impossible.

There's also the fact that it's implied that Drawcia is aware of the player's role in the game(and by extension her existence within it), seeing how during her Soul fight, she(it?) stares directly at the screen the entire time and constantly launches attacks at the screen.

But I mean, Void created Drawcia or at least had something to do with her creation, along with all of Dark Matter and Zero, so wouldn’t that make it the most eldritch being.

Are you sure about that? I mean, other then drawcia's attacks being a bit similar to some other confirmed creations of void, there's no true "link" between void and drawcia. I mean, perhaps it's more of a coincidence, a-la convergent evolution where both attacks are basically "effective" which is why they are both used by powerful beings. The only true "link" that drawcia has to the cannon series is paintra, where it says she was "sisters" with some other being, implying that drawcia is totally a thing in the main cannon, though I believe that drawcia is probably not nearly as powerful in the main games as she is in canvas curse. I mean, all of this is up to interpretation as no one has given a clear answer to these things but eh?

This is already a great song on it's own, but that second half was DAMN GOOD. I've only seen maybe two other covers of Drawcia's theme that does it justice (one of which by Itoki Hana, and I have unfortunately forgot who did the other one) and you've already done amazing!

Desolo's orchestral version of Drawcia's theme is probably one of the few best ones. And for Drawcia Soul, definitely Desolo's version is an improvement. This video is also one of the few remixes that are good and that are done in the greatest ways.

Drawcia is a pretty underrated character. It feels like she suffers from insanity, and that kinda makes me feel sorry for her.

Drawica's probably my favourite Kirby antagonist. Excellent rendition of her theme. Kinda wish that Kirby did a little more to expand on Drawica's lore, all we know extra about her is that she has two sisters and an alternate universe claymation counterpart. There's still so much mystery surrounding her.

if I could give this remix a name, it'd be "Ballad of a Tortured Artist" now, the phases individually? Phase 1: "The World is My Canvas" Phase 2: "Art & Psychosis"

WHAT THE HECK WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT DRAWCIA! AND NOW THIS MASTERPIECE EXISTS! I’ve loved the Drawcia Sorceress theme for so long, this is gonna be SUCH a treat! :D

The first half sounds like an angry rainbow playing guitar and the second sounds like the rainbow broke said guitar over someone's head, turned into a demon, and started ripping out spines.

Hell yeah! Everyone’s favorite paint boss.

I still hold Drawcia as my favorite Kirby boss theme. Something about how the whole game having a rather cutesy toy like ost, all the other bosses being minigames and then being slapped with such a ominous creepy theme when going into the final world. And then when you get to her, its a kickass organ and synth. Kudo's for having the back synths. I notice alot of remixes often forget to put them in, but those 'BWAAA' droning synths really make Drawcia Sorceress stand out.

This one's definitely up there as one of my favourite _Kirby_ covers you've done. Drawcia and her themes are creepy, cool and underrated, and you've really done them justice!

Oh man, it’s been a long time since I thought about Dark Rust’s theme. Cobalion’s theme was also really good at making a younger me feel threatened by this imposing figure of justice.

Both boss themes are incredibly well done but I absolutely LOVE your take on Drawcia Soul the most. You definitely added a whole lot more craziness into the theme, which fits the boss incredibly well given her backstory possibly relating to insanity and such. Maybe it’s just my idea but greatly gives off a scary feeling like being stuck in her warped world or mind. Great work! 🩷🧡💛💚🩵💜

Your Kirby remixes are always a blast

This rendition really makes me think that Drawcia Sorceress' theme might have been inspired by The Call of Ktulu by Metallica. The whole song is built off of one main riff, with the intro being just the riff, then comes in the other instruments, esp the bass that growls in a similar manner as the call of ktulu bass. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but regardless it's really cool to hear in action. Fantastic remix GaMetal! I love the bass growls, more songs should implement that imo

The original Soul form. The OG. Crazy how many final bosses in the Kirby series were inspired by Drawcia; she's almost (maybe even is) at Zero levels of influence. Awesome job on this remix! Jonny NAILED the part that makes this song so unique: that one instrument that I can’t give a name to but sounds so weird in the original. He managed to convert it into metal form so effectively.
