I personally love it when it’s a mix of both, talking throughout most of it but having little snippets of texts on screen (such as you cracking a joke or something)! Your art looks great by the way💜

I personally like seeing a real time drawing it’s always so relaxing . It’s like drawing with a buddy, and if you feel the need to cut out some silent bits it’ll be fine.

I love feeling like I'm actually drawing WITH someone, I have social anxiety and no art friends so it's difficult for me to just talk with someone whilst I draw, plus I can just pause whenever I want hehe. I love real-time drawing as well since I learn from how you draw, its really nice to see the techniques and your thoughts! please continue

ik this video is old but im sure people love when u talk while drawing, i do. I paint or draw while listening to your videos and for some reason its much more relaxing and helpful then just listening to music. I also like watching the sketch process and trying to convey certain techniques into my own art. thank you for making a channel, you inspire me so much

I love it when you talk! I’m someone with adhd and I can’t handle being in complete silence. It scares me honestly. Most of the time, I either play music, watch you or a vlogger I enjoy, or just listen to my fan or the game I’m playing. I also prefer when you draw in real time because it lets me see your process and learn off of it for my own art! ❤

Your painting videos are my favorite to watch! Not only does your art make me super happy, but the music is nice too. I also like how this isn’t a traditional speed paint at like 100000x speed. I can actually see what you’re doing and learn more like this. ^^

tbh my fav part of watching someone draw is how they design a character so nicely and how they know how to do anatomy perfectly like you- and I like how they do the lineart so smoothlyyy like for me its kinda satisfying

Honestly, I love when people ramble while drawing, it's relatable since I like to mumble/ramble to myself while drawing lol, also it might help to just talk about yourself or like life/interest, don't get me wrong I like hearing artists talk about their goals or past art-related experiences, but I really enjoy hearing/seeing that the artist is just like me in a way and not some unreachable thing I really love the sketching phase so I can see how others break down their anatomy

I really love when you sketch actually! cause the fact that I can feel relaxing drawing while listening to what your saying is enough but the progress of you sketching and didn't speed it up makes me feel more comfortable of what I'm doing during the sketching part! :> Another thing is that I would really love to have an hour or more long videos like what you said! Parsonally I really love it's like live but not exactly

I also enjoy vlogs and I dunno I think the sketch is my favorite part of the drawing. But I also really loved watching you put colors around/on the line art. It was really neat to watch you color pick and draw, and then redo as needed. And I enjoyed everything you talked about, so when you felt silly or like you’d gone on a tangent, I was like, “noooo! You’re RIGHT.” And “yeeesss DO IT” about opening a shop.

I prefer talking so I can listen and draw alongside you, to be honest. You get nice tips and tricks just from hearing you talk about it. Meanwhile I love watching both the sketching AND coloring process. Also, I like that you put something like "maybe art isn't for me" rather than "I'm not good at art" because I know I have friends that struggle with art while I gravitated to it from an early age (and still adapt to it in my 30s). Hell, for the longest time I refused to try digital, but now I primarily do digital because I finally feel like I have the proper tools and the proper headspace for it.

I am going to be sooo honest I just have to thank you for this video! It feels soo nice to hear you speak because you sound so calm and I truly appreciate the motivational speech it makes me think of the stuff I should do myself. Also love the art! its beautiful!

Yes! I do draw watching your vids because as soon that i get the motivation i will immediately get my sketchbook and start drawing.

Real time sketches all the way!! It helps me as an artist (learning from you, being motivated to draw along with you) and it's just a chill, enjoyable video to watch. Funny enough, slower, chill videos hold my attention longer than sped up ones, because the information overload from the latter leads to me zoning out and skipping around. In slower videos I can watch the lil microdecisions the artist makes for their piece. I like voice over w/ quiet music, for similar reasons. Plus, if I at one point didn't want to listen to talking, I can always mute the video and play my own music (which isn't the case the other way around). :)

I enjoy when u talk about curtain things mainly bc it’s entertaining to know a lil bit of things about u and I personally love when u color them cuz the colors are just so soft and pretty I love it

I like when there's a voice over! As for the speed of the art, I don't really mind either way whether it's super sped up or normal speed. I'd love to see more types of art though like redraws! Usually I prefer a screenrecording (because sometimes the lines of an irl recording make it hard to see the screen), but these kinds where you can see your hand are charming too!

Yeah and it requires less work. Making accurate subtitles is annoying and these rypes of video would be tiring so that's good to have voice just for that.

i pretty much never watch videos without voiceovers because i can never do one thing at a time, it always has to be at least two (like cooking and watching something). Plus asmr videos are super uncomfortable for me (sounds like that make me tic and twitch non-stop), so videos like this are absolutely the best imo. And i agree - sketch phase is really interesting so watch! Though my favorite part is usually when people add color, because it's always so interesting to see how people pull a color palette together.

I love how your doing it now. It being closer to real time is really handy when your trying to learn but it being sped up might be more consumable for other people.

personally i love the narrated videos, even if you just ramble about your day! plus, if someone doesnt like the voiceover they can always mute the tab and play their own music :D also i think videos from 30-50 minutes are nice so i can listen along as i draw too! it really helps me with motivation

I like you talking because I have a romance thriller book to set up/draw for! Having subtitles should always happen though for the hard of hearing or deaf people! It's best to have both just incase. I wish I wasn't so busy rn to watch you draw but I'm happy I can hear your voice.
