This is one of rhe best and most straight forward tutorials on drawing bark. You are doung grreat with your videos. Simple is good! You dont need ton of talking or flashing banners, etc. Some people draw for a while and then just talk when there is something important to point out. I love thid as is. Thsnk you!

This was a great tutorial, i really like the bark in the first square. As for you talking, i honestly prefer it. When its just music or silence it feels more artificial and its harder to connect with the artist. The difficulty you have in explaining is entirely understandable i struggle a bit with it myself, plus i know how nerve racking it is to put yourself out there like this, but i think you did awesome man! Keep up the good work, God bless!

Of course sometimes it's nice to watch speed paints with music underneath but in a tutorial video like this I prefer hearing your tips and tricks and seeing it in real time (at least some parts). Your balance is fine. We are always our own worse critic, but the commentary is spot on from a viewer perspective. We also get a little idea of the person behind the pen, which is nice.
