Sorry to hear your club is coming to an end. It's very obvious, in the way you communicate, that it a very good learning experience. Love these tulips! Have to make one more Easter card, and it think this is the perfect idea. Have a blessed Easter! TFS

I did make my own markers, after seeing that Mermaid Markers were over $40! So I used empty pens from Amazon, with children's liquid watercolor called Colorific. It was cheap and easy, cost me about $15 about a year ago. The stuff is dye based though, and not lightfast. It also stains hands and brushes but are fun to use. I also got a pack of liquid watercolor metallics for children (about $10 for six colors), and they are thicker but they also work well. Both sets of watercolor are huuuuge and will probably last a decade or more so they are a great value.

Awesome in SO many ways! You are able to clearly explain "the why's and why not's" of the paper you are using, pens, paint and so much more. You speak easily and are easy to listen to! So glad I happened upon your video!

I still have one of my watercolor tulip wreaths - I’m going to revisit the tutorial and do some like these. So pretty - I like the vibrant color from these marker pens, but I’m going to see what I can do with the watercolors I have. Thanks for sharing these. I’m sorry your club is disbanding - but good for you organizing a monthly lunch. I still see my work colleagues and I’ve been retired for 7 years now. You get attached to some people. 😊

First, and most importantly, a very happy and blessed Easter to you in this season of joy! Second, I'm sorry your club is ending - I used to work with a woman who gained unbelievable skills through Toastmasters, she got two promotions and was in line for a third when I left - but they seem to have really helped you. I watch your videos for your amazing art, of course, but also because they're well produced and you communicate very clearly. Very helpful! ❤️✝️

I can't seem to respond on the shorts; but I would love a longer tutorial on the hydrangea; as I said; my struggle is always contrast contouring and use of water. It did got better depending on use of paper; i know use hahnemule expression hot press the large pink pad; or arches at least water control works better on those two. As both are 100% Cotton. My problem is not so much in the drawing; specially not in botanicals. But named two; horror :P

I notice voices perhaps because I listen to audiobooks and NPR which has great radio personalities with amazing voices. Your videos are all the more enjoyable because of your wonderful narration or voice over. There’s a good pace to it and inflection. Anyhow, I enjoyed the tulips today and the lesson on all the different markers. 😊

I’ve used them a bunch; they’re a little to bright (in a fake kind of way?) for me. But the thing that makes me nuts is a bunch of them change hue entirely with water. It’s ok once you know which ones do that but I can never remember 🤣

Sandy, you don’t have to look at the camera on zoom if you have your camera set up correctly. My husband’s business is conducted almost entirely through zoom and his camera setup absolutely makes it look like he is looking directly at his clients when he is looking at them on his screen. If you are going to be using zoom frequently going forward it’s worth doing a little digging to figure this out.

That’s assuming you have a camera separate than your laptop. Everybody has a different set up and we learned just because something works for one person it doesn’t work for someone else.
