Y'all it's 2019 and I still can't get over the fact how hard this game went. Like, it's NOT the kind of content you expect from a BL game. There's so much about this that's so good without the porn, to the point where they literally made a game that takes it out. The character design, the storytelling, the world building, the romance, the soundtrack, just everything is really well done and unique. Its honestly kills me how good it is, considering the intentions of it being a bl game. They literally did not have to go that hard but they did and it's exactly why I enjoy it so much.

Its been like 10 years since this game came out, and I still remember Clear's route like day. That right there tells you something about DMMD's writing.

replaying dmmd when it released on steam was like reliving my childhood, I was 13-14 when I first played it and jesus it's aged so well? even the background characters are so detailed. the voice acting, sprites, cgs, character design & story are just so good. the sound track too, chefs kiss. I can appreciate it isn't for everyone but I've never understood why it gets shit on to the extent it does.

The fact that there was a moment in my life where I watched lots of content related to this awesome game will always remain a secret of mine

@@rinawyen5583 I think they’re fan translations. Around 5-6 years ago, a group of the game’s fans decided to translate it and distribute it in the US. It was limited tho so not everyone could get their hands on it, unfortunately. If you’d like to watch their gameplays check out Andrea Pannocchia on here. She has an entire playlist of bl visual novels including Dmmd re:connect.

Btw if you didn't know this game did get an official localization with english translation by JastBlue. ReConnect unfortunately doesn't have one yet but they said they're considering it since DMMD USA sold really well.

THIS GAME- Okay. This game is so much more than a BL game. This game has an amazing storyline that is not like others. Nitro-Chrial S N A P P E D- with this game. It still shocks me that some people only like the game for the 18+ parts. It it definitely a lot more than that :3. The game is so much fun, and the anime adaption isn't that bad either. I am so glad that dmmd got a *STAGE PLAY* !! I'm so glad to be a part of this crazy family of BL loving peeps! 💜💜

I actually like this game for the non-18+ parts lmao. I've pre-ordered the physical limited edition for the JAST release but will most likely be playing the steam key it comes with when I finally get to revisit it. Either way, I'm so excited

Maaan, remember playing it in high school. Still amazed how I managed to beat the game and re:connect sequel without my dad noticing (I'd be so done for, lol) but it was SO worth it. I don't have that much experience with VN, but still there was no other game in genre like DMMd that caught my whole attention from the beginning to the very end. Maybe that's just crap luck, but I couldn't find other VN with story and world buiding this good and addictive that didn't need to have romance to be great on its own. Like, wtf, you could drop the whole BL and +18 stuff and have more people buy it, but still you stick with it and make such a game. Nitro, I'm so grateful for this, giving me hope that you can find fantastic BL titles you can remember for years and not be ashamed with love for it because of its low quality. Definitely waiting for your next game!

I'm just sad there is not an english dubing for the game. As a blind person (and non-japanese speaker) who recently got interested in the lore and universe, all i could do is watch/listen to the anime english dub.

Yup I played it in English however, there is no offical english translation but there is a fan translation. The best place to download this patch is from fuwa novel so just google dramatical murder fuwa novel. Hope that helps ^^

Oh my lord, the nostalgia I'm feeling right now-- played this the summer of 2013. Lots of long nights spent into the verryy peak of morning, where I'd fall asleep and literally wake up at 12:00 to whichever song track was playing at that particular moment. There's something unbelievably enchanting about visual novels. Something that you don't get in any other medium that I can't place my finger on. Not just 'BL', either. There's definitely something more-- colormecheesygeezhereIgoagain. I think it's time to revisit this. Psst, guys. Check out Sekien no Inganock for your next visual novel!! It isn't a BL, but please give it a try. The atmosphere, ost, and artstyle-- ESPECIALLY the artsyle-- are amazing.
