I think when they said "winner" they meant manufacturer who got the most points at an event. And even though Simon won music city, overall Discraft still got more points from having players in 2nd, 3rd, and 7th place.

Guys.. on the DGPT Europe we have 6 Silver events and 5 Elite series events. Belgian Open (happened May 3.-5.) was a Silver, and the upcoming Copenhagen Open is an Elite series. From the Silver series you only get points for the DGPT Europe tour, not for the main DGPT.

Hey guys. I was the spotter on 16. I've been playing 10+ years and knew that Missy's disc was in. 100%. I would never have called that disc OB for anyone. The island had paint, string, and then the land itself. Because of all of this, we were told to let the players play. Obviously with the heat of the playoff things were magnified. I understand Brian's criticism and frustration in the moment. Thinking back about it, I probably should have waved the green flag for Hailey's game and decision making. Watching Jomez and seeing Missy getting in her head a bit, I wish I would have waved green for her as well. I was in the moment, wanted to stay off of cameras as much as possible (as instructed), and felt like the "IDK" call would have the least amount of impact to the players. Definitely think green would have been better for both player's mental game. In the end, I'm glad it didn't impact anything. In my opinion, if the players and DGN/DGPT staff wants official rulings in those situations (320' from the players) they need to hire officials and not utilize volunteer spotters that have been standing in 50 degrees weather in the rain and 20mph winds for 10 hours. (also, not the Star Wars guy. He's much cooler than me.)

I absolutely agree with everything you say having been a spotter 2 years at MCO. If it was too close to call Hailey has got to assume it IN. No matter what she was going to try to stick the green even if Missy was OB. Good on DDO for giving you some sort of instruction. MCO gives no advice or instruction and you're not vetted at all, blows my mind

@@samz1108 I was the spotter on 16 the final day. I felt really bad but they asked me to hold players up when chase and lead card was on 18's fairway. I held 3 cards up while they were going through on their first time around, and then held another 4/5 up when the playoff came through. Some of those guys sat on 16's tee pad for nearly an hour because of this... The MPO first card and FPO lead card had a 45 minute gap. However, that was gone pretty fast because an earlier FPO card fell nearly an hour behind the card in front of it. I'm not sure what they can do in the future...

1:04:07 - So funny to me that the guys couldn't remember the 2019 European Open (which was indeed a major), that Ricky was in the lead, and how awesome that final round was with McBeth storming back for the win. To add to that, even McBeth himself couldn't remember! Not a knock on any of them, but that is just hilarious to me that nobody could remember an iconic event like that, even the guy who won it!

Rule 806.02 section B: “A disc is out-of-bounds if its position is CLEARLY and COMPLETELY surrounded by an out-of-bounds area.” Weatherman’s disc was neither CLEARLY or by extension of that 100% beyond a shadow of a reasonable doubt COMPLETELY surrounded by the OB area. Weatherman got shafted by cardmates, and we all missed out on what would have been an even more exciting three-way playoff.

With the island it was crazy but it just helped he threw mid and it hit the wall and then the ground so it sorta cut into the ground and spun back whereas Rick threw fairway and it hit ground first going quite fast and it just got up and rolled on him. Great break for Calvin and bad for Ricky but you gotta get some breaks to win these days

Here is my take on commentary line up: - Nate Sexton, Jerm, Charlie in the booth - Nate Perkins, Terry on the field - Nate Doss and Philo for pre and post show so they could argue with each other and create all their drama. I dont like them in the booth but could actually see them debating each other similar to how some of the NFL/NBA guys sit around arguing with each other - Ian doing "personality" interviews and "fun" on field or off field segments.

My gained c1 x is -0.4. Now on hole 7 I took two c1x putts to complete the hole whereas the field took an average of 2.6 c1x putts to complete the hole. My gained c1x on hole 7 is 0.6. Aggregate playoff is the mcbeth rule! Sudden death isn’t as good as aggregate only when Paul slips on tee pad and Calvin goes straight lazer beam park job! I’m sure this had something to do with it

The playoff should be 3 holes match play, that way it can't be over if someone blows ups on the first hole. If its tied after 3 then sudden death.

I feel like if they use paint for op, the middle of the paint line should actually be the OB line. It’s more clear cut in instances like this.

Takes less work for you to skip through than for them to put a time stamp on the video. It's a podcast, they want you to watch/listen through the whole thing.

Would have liked to hear more about what you guys thought of the foot fault call by King. That was just an embarrassing thing to do, and felt like such a petty call. I feel like more foot faults should be called, and I understand that many are overlooked for fear of retaliatory calls. But that one was just such a disappointing reaction from her. Of course she wanted to win, but you've got to be able to lose with some dignity.

So who are the young up and comers in fpo with ohn in her 40’s and Gannon and Tattar in late 30’s? Is women’s disc golf and old persons sport where as men’s is for the young?
