Drama At The Etihad, Man Utd’s Attitude Problems & Nutella Sandwiches | EP 53

Спорт

Did Spurs deserve a point against Man City? Is there any way back from the lack of desire some Man Utd players are showing on the pitch? Why on earth were Barcelona players asking for Nutella sandwiches after their matches?
The boys also discuss Liverpool having their own goal of the month competition at Anfield and a crucial win for Burnley.

In the early 2000's before he got his big break, and before he even had the name Dynamo, I used to see Dynamo performing tricks outside nightclubs every weekend (thinking about it now, he probably wasn't even old enough to get in the clubs) He always had a large crowd around him, watching intensely trying to work out how he did the things he did. You could tell that he had something special about him even back then & that he wasn't gonna be hussling for tips for very long. A great kid, & really happy that he found success.

If we look at the hand gestures from the ref for the decision on the Haaland foul in the last minutes, he "blows" for a foul (raising one arm), if there was playing the advantage he would've raised both arms to signal that. I think he did mean to give a foul but didn't blow his whistle properly. Hence why he blew again. (watch it back and you'll know what i mean) All thoughts and rebuttals welcome, good community of football fans here i trust and value your opinions 🤝

I think no one is looking from the ref's position and that he may not have been able to judge that Grealish had advantage over the 3 defenders around him and had second thoughts. Also spared Grealish from messing up a one on one as it was not clear he was in control of the ball. Spurs also had their share of bad luck as what is an own goal. Simply City did not do enough and Spurs did as much as they could do not lump this on the ref because you missed a sitter Mr Haaland.

People keep asking why spurs doesn't change their style of play...why didn't city change it for yesterday's game? They could have played counter attacking with haaland's pace and spurs' lack of CBs. Ans: It's not their style of play. so let spurs have their style of play and don't keep on asking for a defensive mindset

shows newcastle still have low standards when beating a "shocking" united 1:0 is a "brilliant performance". Al loves it when united lose cos he's still salty he didn't go there and acc win stuff in his career

The scoreline doesn’t reflect the performance. The reason people are saying it’s a brilliant performance is because Newcastle battered man united, even though it only finished 1-0.

We literally battered Man U for 90 minutes, it should have been 6-0. How is that not a brilliant performance?

the only salt I'm sensing is from you; Man Utd were lucky it was only 1-0; trippier free kick, decent onana save - that's without thinking too hard. On top of those, Shaw & Macquire were easily their best players; rashford, bruno & martial were wasted uniforms, Mctomminay & the 18 year old couldn't compete whilst your full backs were left facing gordon & livramento / almiron & trippier. That's why the performance easily exceeded the scoreline against a team that hasn't beaten a top half team away in 18 months+

Every single goal Liverpool concedes is TAA fault… Every single thing he gets criticised about I see on a weekly basis other teams and players doing the exact same things and it’s NEVER about that player People have this crazy emotional argument stating TAA cannot defend when in fact that’s anything but the truth He had the best defensive stats in the city game on the pitch, you don’t see pundits digging that up do you, they state instead that Doku had 11 successful dribbles so therefore TAA must be bad when in fact his dribbles only created ONE opportunity and that was against Macca People also say he can’t play for England in the big games like he’s never played the game before “he can only play against the small teams because he can’t defend” Seriously, just stop this utter garbage punditry that’s based off of emotional nonsense and instead give us stats with context!

Rather the ref makes a human mistake than VAR being the headline of the game AGAIN. It was a great game! I think grealish had pace to burn it's just not an easy thing to Do out of nowhere when you're just controlling the ball at your own tempo the entire game

Grealish is too negative when he's in the final third. If he doesn't win a free kick he doesn't know what to do so just passes it backwards.
