Here's an issue for Drake. A square should lean into professional security as they get bigger. Leaning into Street dudes to facilitate your cosplaying as a grown man means one thing - extortion. Drake has no day ones from that side of life, none. The problem is these goons 100% quietly despise Drake. Its entirely transactional & hes cosplaying. The money means its worth it... until it isnt. J prince doesnt love Drake. The Hells Angels dont love Drake. When hes out here talking about LA gang sets especially theres only so much they can do. They will say no to his requests and he still has to pay. The more enemies Drake makes, the more they shake him down for. You can't unhire J prince or the Hells Angels. When it comes time to shrink the entourage hes going to get lined up. He has low level security guards but goons managing at the highest level. Real professional security management at the highest level wont work for a client with gangsters running this play. They aren't to be mistaken with security teams who are just goons with uniforms.

Drake didn't even really conceal his part in it, his name was directly associated with the security company car that the shooter was in; This was a shooter drawing down on Drake's own security team! He was directly responsible for that shooting If you recall in that Sexy Redd song, he actually says something to the effect of that they will travel •once he handles his business• at the Embassy •(referring to the shooting he himself arranged and orchestrated) I will try to find a couple links to the video or videos that I originally watched that led me to believe this was the case

A civillian bringing heat and light to the organisation quickly becomes seen as a liabillity. Its assumed they'll talk should LE press them. I am sure Drake doesn't understand this. He volunteered himself into a protection racket. Theres other benefits Drake could confer but easily dwarfed by the heat this brings. A call from the top to be heard all the way down to prospects trying to earn their patch could be made instantly. Break all contact after a brutal demonstration of intimidation that ensures he heeds their insistence he keeps his mouth shut and head down.

A lot of Drake’s fans (to their credit) saw it and processed like adults with lives. The Stans couldn’t understand the complex emotions that all this has caused, so they defaulted to belligerence. It’s sad really.

Great video. I just wanted to say I'm black Canadian and we celebrate Canada day. I don't even like Drake but I don't see anything wrong with him saying Happy Canada Day. Canada is where my parents were able to immigrate to and it's where I was born and raised. Toronto specifically is a part of me and I love my country. It's a complicated history, and I know this to be true for the indigenous population especially. I engage with those from their communities who are leading the way to make sure we are all aware of what happened. In addition to Canada Day, we also honour the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

I love your commentary on these... distasteful antics. It's not drama at this point; aubrey appears to be a danger to the public, and it's refreshing to have an informed, rational analysis instead of just a reaction.

You can find comments on reddit and instsa and such suggesting that Drake bumbling around Toronto's underbelly has caused serious friction over the years. Access to him/his money has warped the game. It could be a simple factional power play for his favour. Great video. I would be interested to hear your opinion onDrake"s moves post beef, what you think he could/should do going forward and what you think he will do. Seperatly I'd be interested about what you think Kendrick and co plan to do with this power vacuum and energy they have generated. Because it seems more and more evident that the beef is only the vehicle and Drake the sacrifice. I dont think Kendrick is looking to replace him. So what does he want?

Here's something I haven't really seen anyone talk about, w/r/t where drake can go from here: How about if drake just tries to be a better person? Stop the crypto gambling, stop the whoring around, stop carrying himself like a tweenager, stop trying to be "street". Going back to "Meet the grahams", kendrick said "You lied about the one artist who could offer you some help"....which implies that kendrick felt that it was possible for drake to rehabilitate himself, possibly even as recently as "I heard one of them kids might be...". And this is in the middle of a song where Kdot said...well, a lot of other things.... So, barring that I don't know what I don't know, what I don't know is this: why isn't anyone on drake's side even considering this angle for drake?

What if the reason why Kendrick went so hard at drake wasn't because he hates drake. What if this is all just Kendrick's method for stripping drake's ego away by force, so that drake might see that he needs to rehabilitate himself as a person. I mean, if kendrick can share his biggest moment on stage with Dr. Dre, who has committed heinous acts of violence against women...the idea of rehabilitation, the idea that you are not defined by your worst moment, that has to be on his mind, even now, even with drake. ...And if I happen to be right about any of this, this beef isn't over. Kendrick won't be done with drake until drake is done with drake.

The screws have been turned on them and they aren't what they used to be. They don't operate as a singular organization, US chapters absolutely don't do the dirty work of Candadian chapters. Yeah HA has been involved with sex trafficking. They're also notoriously racist (as most biker gangs tend to be). So Drake would have to be desperate in his search for power/influence in the streets to turn to them. I don't know what he plans to gain from it. If he thinks he can use them to intimidate his enemies he's playing a dangerous game, because Kendrick has more influence over the most notorious street gangs in the US.

Thats true. But involving not just a civillian, but a sheltered one, and furthermore one that is perpetually overcompensating... thats ALOT of risk. I lean towards him seeking association for image cultivation and paying absurd amounts to a single chapter for the look. Beyond that punching Rick Ross, low level goon shit, is prob the extent of what they'll do for him. I think he's caught up in those allegations by Kendrick, with him being a "beard" meaning cover for this activity. I just think via diff avenues. I def think HA could use his vast commercial enterprise as a financial laundromat. .

Theres been new movement. A certain channel offering informed commentary on the nature of this relationship released a video where he retracted his statements about Drake having a transactional affiliation because he had been "persuaded" by phone call. He said that Drake just happens to wear HA support gear.. since 2017. This reasoning is clearly absurd and retraction half hearted. A phone call from prison from a motorcycle enthusiast refuting Drakes connection is recorded and circulated online. For the uninformed public this is recieved as Drake being exposed for clout chasing - the informed will recgonize that some, probably diff chapters, who never liked this.... are reacting after sudden increase in scrutiny and want distance. Young boys in Miami or LA who are unknown, lack gang ties, are uninformed, but want to impress... see a local HA patch and to them its all the same. Drake cares nothing for these young black men who are vulnerable... yet he's gained so much from Black America.
