She’s making 750k a year by herself and it’s standard practice on here to overvalue the business and then negotiate. They only find high valuations disrespectful when they can see that the company is going nowhere

They are lucky. Every pregnant woman in UK knows her hypnobirthing course. This is a huge business already and it has potential for international scaling, huge global market etc, just needs translation and marketing to litherally swipe over Europe. Not to mention he USA where healthcare is rubbish and such useful courses can actually save mums huge amount of money if intentions are prevented.

I've got her course and the app. Her business is incredibly useful and very popular. The dragons are he lucky ones here tbh - currently every pregnant woman talks about it and actively buys her products in the UK. If this thing goes international even a small % equity will cost so much. I recon USA with its wacky healthcare system will be an excellent market

These comments are nuts - her business is incredibly successful and is probably worth 13.6mil. She has full ownership which is awesome as well. Can't believe you think she's being cheeky. In the tech world, people invest millions for tiny percentages because it's pretty much infinitely scaleable. The amount of people that get shafted on this show - she's savvy.

  • @co9420

The comments are warranted because Dragon's Den and Shark Tank are informercials for tangible products. This is not a tech start up show. I agree in tech small percentage equity even during start up phase is not unheard of because of the crazy amount of returns. But this show is free advertisement for the company and the dragons, plus they do have "credibility" as they are in the public due to these shows. So they do bring great value because they do bring initial value after the show is released due to consumer interest, distributors, and others.

You will be lucky to get 1% of a unicorn. This company took UK by storm and it has huge scalability potential on a relatively not big price. Globally. The market for a product that makes birthing experiance better is massive. Just the USA alone is such a big market with their crap*y health care system.

Because she’s already got a really successful business, not like the people who come on and massively overvalue their company in anticipation of the dragons making it successful. She doesn’t need them, so she automatically commands more respect out of them.

This is not hypnosis, it is hypnobirthing. It is how to breath during labour to aid it and few other key techniques to make the frist stage easy and the second stage easier (second stage is where you push the baby out and when drugs might potentially can come, but it is like 1,2h alike the first stage that can be many hours of period like contractions which are settimg up the second stage). And when it comes to the day...sadly it is way more complicated then take drugs. Otherwise birthgiving would have been a very simple and pleasant experience and hypnobirthing would not exist 😅
