Valley of the Damned 2004 live in Japan is probably one of the best live shows I've seen with him ever . You need to hear how thick his South African accent is and then later how high pitch he can reach . It's freaking amazing

I like ZPs richness in his voice but hate that he never seems to hit the right notes. I much rather listen to mark singing perfectly in pitch with his "flatter" voice than listening to ZP. When the old singer tried to hit the high notes it always sounded like a forced scream where he was hoping (and mostly failing) to get the pitch right.

It's so hard to just listen enough to get muscle memory to play something that fast. You literally can't play it unless you can mentally kinda slow it down.
