Video did not mention Indestructible. Im fairly certain losing dps to run Indestructible gear is the correct play

Great video, a couple of weeks back I had a tier piece mythic shoulders with speed and avoidance tertiary stats. I wanted to take so bad but I really needed the ash trinket. Would have been nice to flex double tertiary mythic shoulders all season

I've had a cloak with a speed boost on it that has served me well through the patch so far. I don't scoff at it because as a blood dk, my mobility options are fiercely limited. Being able to move around a little faster to avoid mechanics without having to hit a button in some cases really helps.

One thing to mention, speed is super bis for warlocks, their mobility is ass and im rocking around 20+ movement speed and its noticable, I can dodge mechanics without having to stop my casts.

true since lock is already tanky speed sounds really good

Avoidance was capped at 20% before, but since Dragonflicht, the cap was removed as far as i know

I loved Avoidance last patch, Got super lucky and was near cap (18% from gear). As a Ret paladin I ate so many mechanics with no issue and just popped a WoG to get back up any missing if I needed to.

yeah avoidance makes us so hard to kill can just take stuff and brush it off

How does one calculate avoidance? None of the tankadin weakauras seem to work.

it should be in the stat sheet of your character thats the flat % reduction it provides now it stacks multiplicativly with other reductions so you have to use the math i show in the video to know how much more reduction you get when stacking it with other prot pally defensives, hope this helps

Its no longer available was from bfa pvp season, but you can get a similar yellowish version doing the heroic stormgrade warfronts

I could not agree more with what you metion in your video. However tertiary stats impact can only take you so far if you are a squishy class. I myself play a survival hunter. I run 15 % leech, 17 avoidance and 20% versatility and 5 % speed. All this means nothing when running anything 24 lvl keys and above. Like, is really hard to survival, lol, even when using defensives properly and healer babysitting me. I think that classes natural survivability needs to be better address; there is a world of difference between DH, Rogues, Mages, Locks even Ret Pally and Hunter, Shammans and Boomies.
