Ive beat it twice already. Its a fun game. Flawed like the original but still the same charm the og game had. The exploration is vastly improved and the world is actually worth exploring. I hope the dlc ends up having more variety of enemies.

Really good points and i couldn't agree more, the game is really good if you aren't looking for a complex story line and just want to feel like the main character on an open world.

You really should’ve played the first one. The story builds a lot on the lore of the first game. It was much cleaner when it comes to the Arisen and their power, there was no godsway, so in dd2 it may come off as very intrusive when they start messing with your pawn, because it doesn’t seem to “fit”, and you really had to be there for the first game to get that feeling of “oooh, what fresh devilry is this?” I agree when it comes to monster variety, as far as I can tell there were a lot more monsters they could’ve included from the first game, but I don’t fully know all of the monsters yet. So far I haven’t seen any “beholders”, hydras, basilisks, but they did add other monsters, like the sphinx and Medusa. Mob variations would’ve been very nice, gets kind of boring after a while, especially since you get attacked every five seconds. Wolf-riding goblins, maybe? Would’ve been cool if there were horses so you could joust them.

Yeah agreed sometimes I felt like I was playing Diablo where I didn't care what I just killed 😂 but the action is amazing tho

Well, counterpoint... there are more enemies here than In the base game but less than the Dark Arisen update, which, when adjusting for the larger landmass in Dogma 2 kind of ruins the vibe and makes them feel too copy pasted but I'm in love with the game and can't wait for Dogma 2: Arisen Boogaloo

Combat is amazing. Some really cool mechanics. The story barely exist. The final boss was way too easy. The ending was very anti dramatic. That being said, I am still playing it....again. Gameplay mechanics....very fun. think I am over 80 hours. level 60...61...I agree with his opinion on the skill trees. I have a 2020 hp omen gtx and it's been running fine. I still find secret locations and places that I don't know about. slightly agree with opinion on the monsters...sometimes I find hidden monsters. unique monsters.

It’s literally the same story as before because the story repeats its self in the same way over and over and over. The world is cursed to a cycle the only ones that can remember are the pawns and the dragon who was an arisin as well

It's not a game for everyone. That's pretty much it. The exploration and lack of convenience is what core DD players want. I would trade ng+ and unmoored world for a longer main story.

Started playing it 3 days ago. This is exactly what I was hoping for Dragon's Dogma 2. They took the first game and just made it bigger. Perfect. I really wasn't expecting Capcom to make Dragon's Dogma 2 true to the first game. They didn't try to cram it into a more standard game design, which is what I was really afraid of.
