It's crazy to see how these machines were under exploited in the 80s. Nice demo!

Awesome, jaw dropping! Go Dragon, go!! Thank you, guys at GP! But hey, we want more like this, don't you think the 6809E machines deserve it?

Looks like a lovely use of the Semigraphics24 mode taking advantage of the 6809E's more advanced capabilites - and a nice Pmode3 screen at the end. Neat!

Great demo. Didnt expect the Dragon 32 to be able to do this gfx.

Wow how did they get so many colors this looks more like a Atari 8 bit demo or something

Im also gonna call 1 frame color switching so that it looks like there is more onnscreen?

No, it's just the standard colors, the small flickering seen in the video is caused by the composite capture.

Wow, the music sounds like a chipstyle Amiga module! Are you doing software mixing?
@ShadowOfNoice

It is indeed an Amiga style chip module, but it's being streamed from tape to avoid it eating too much CPU time!

@@ShadowOfNoice So it's recorded as analog audio on one of the tape channels, or you're reading digital data off the tape and hammering it into the Dragon's audio hardware?
@ShadowOfNoice

@@superandroidtron It's analog data (after the binary has finished loading) that is then fed through the Dragon32 and output via the Dragon32 sound output - it actually has registers that makes it possible to mux in the tape sound!

@@ShadowOfNoice Wow, that's pretty neat! I didn't know the Dragon could do that.

@@ShadowOfNoice yeah - the tape audio is an old trick, I did that on the Tandy Colour in the 80s. How was the music written though, custom player routine presumably? Is there a binary of this demo around anywhere? Is the music available as a separate binary demo?

Is this real?! The music is amazing! Never heard anything like it on the Dragon.
