Hi. How many weeks/months it takes to get a bud/branch?

Hey mate, pending when you do the graft, with this one you should be close to getting a bud within the first season 👍 branch within a few weeks 👌

Can I ask did you do this in winter? Man every graft I do, the rootstock wound always rots due to the moisture in the bag.

I graft whenever i have time or get around to it. This particar graft.. or any that are outside in the sun ive found is best just before or just after winter 👍 Maybe leave the bottom of the bag open, or take it off for an hour each day to let airflow 🤷🏽‍♂️

Also, how long after the graft should I take the tape off? I've been taking off usually about a fortnight later

If you see any signs of rotting or infection around the tape, i take it off then and there. Otherwise 2-3 weeks, depends how much tape i applied. If its a bit of a birds nest of tape, i usually leave it a little longer to minimise potentially ripping the graft off.
