super had bad art style in most cases because of low budget and short production timeline. old style as in proper animation with detail in character design is what I meant. Super hardly had any detail in character design in almost any fight scenes and the characters had a bit of a chibi look to them as oppose to the original.

Those days of crying during emotional moments with Dragonball ended in the Buu Saga. When Akiras heart was in it.

It's hard to forget how evil Freiza was. I remember him being my first insight into what a truly devilish individual would be. Merciless. He made wicked Saiyans look pitiful. Vegeta's spite, hate and arrogance could have all been due to the abuse at Freiza's hand. Sad.

I feel like all 3 of them are interconnected I really don’t want Broly to die

It is already the best, story wise. No other movie had this much story focus, while also playing with emotions like that and even trying to make you sympathise with the "villain".

Fruit Farm Factory No that would just send a ripple effect becaus then trunks would have never been born. Since goku would have never been sent to earth it had to play out this way

And plus the saiyans were a warrior race and their survival would mean devastation for Universe 7. And since Goku would never get hit on the head as a baby, he'd be just as evil and never meet and befriend Zeno. So there would be no ToP to save the universes.

Beerus sended Frieza to kill the saiyan race,so i think he would do it by himself then frieza don't do it. So the saiyan race would be still dead.

@@truthcrusader360 Once the movie is released Broly and his story arch, will indeed be canon. Toriyama and Toai animation have already confirmed that this movie will be directly after the Tournament of Power and IS within the current DBS universe. Therefore upon release, it IS canon. This isn't fans decisions this is the Creator & Producers decision. Toriyama even stated that "Broly will be their greatest and most powerful opponent thus far. Far more powerful than Jiren" So, what you're saying makes no sense. Also, from the trailers and some leaked footage, I'm believing Broly will join Goku & Vegita... But I could be wrong on the joining part.

@@truthcrusader360 Also... Toriyama has stated a few times that there are no "canon" movies before battle of the gods, with the exception of "Bardock, Father of Goku". However he did stipulate that BfoG could change in canonization depending on upcoming movie releases.

Same. DBS lacks the core 'space opera' feeling that defined DBZ. It was just...it felt like fanfiction. This movie get me super saiyan HYPE though!

I was thinking that too, but I was also thinking he said that to one of his goons like zarbon after the conversation with beerus, like he came up with it. I feel like this may be true because he said wouldn't you agree, if beerus told him to destroy the planet why would he get asked if he agreed with it, and plus frieza wouldn't talk so casually with beerus.

Well, yeah, but Bardock isn’t that consistent in terms of appearances in the show or other media like Krillin. Plus the fact that young Gohan’s and Frieda’s voice were recasted shows that changes are possible.

Also, when it comes down to Bardock's overall personality, this Special plays as a primary example of how people have seen this guy over the years: a low-class Saiyan who doesn't care about anything other than doing his job.

So Broly hates Vegeta not Goku in this movie, because his father sent Broly away and Paragus "vows revenge". Makes sense.

+Nido17 Makes far more sense than his hate for Goku because he cried a lot. I'm thinking: hold on a second- You do realize Vegeta's father sent an assassin to kill you as a baby right? Why aren't you pissed off at Vegeta? He's the spitting image of his Father and it was because of the caste system they decided to kill you off for fear of your power. Toriyama was pretty laughable at times with his writing lol.

Especially if Frieza has pulled a Gohan by getting lazy and not bothered training since the tournament, which I bet is the case. The guy is WAY to full of himself to train at this point, so any of the main three Saiyans could breath on him and he'd die.
