Gdadder yes it is...outside of the Frieza and U6 arcs, DBS has overall better animation than Z. The art is usually better and much more detailed in Z (especially in the Buu Saga) and most of the fights are way more epic but Super has it beat in animation when it’s not piss poor.

It sure seems to be. So many possibilities for that scenario. Perhaps he's buying them time for something? Just left the theatre after seeing this movie. This is literally the best Dragon Ball movie ever. Not going to spoil anything. Go see this in theatres because there hasn't been a movie like this ever.. The wife and I are in the living room right now just staring in the distance and thinking about the movie. The only "epic" about it it's the hype in fans in anything new DB, there's really nothing to be hype about except nostalgia. New Saiya-jin that isn't even actually new, more Saiya-jin, as if it wasn't enough already.

I must say this one of the best Dragon ball movie i have seen till date. It happens after the battle of universe and since not all the episode has not been aired(battle of universe) in DB super, the movie kicks off from there. Would give 9/10. Unlike all other DB movies this one gives you goosebumps too see legendary super saiyan(broly) fighting against Goku and Vegeta. As a huge dragon ball fan i was waiting to watch this. Worth watching :)

Watched this in theatres. One of the best Dragon Ball movies I've seen.

it's a movie that when it come out it will have more than 1 year of pre-production(1 episode of a series has 6-10 weeks pre-production. you can't compare this with over 1 year pre-production) and has the best animators from Toei working on the movie. too bad that Super series has mediocre-trash animation-art-visuals and horrible direction/choreography with some minor exceptions here and there. how Super episodes 130-131 are is how episode 1 should have been, and possibly get better over time
