I haven’t seen the main Bridgerton series, I only watched Queen Charlotte (this). This short series is SO wonderfully written, and the character development is incredibly good. The ending scene under the bed legitimately moved me to tears - and I do not cry often. It’s so tragic, but it’s so lovely.

In the main Bridgerton series we barely see Queen Charlotte & the King interact & I believe in all the scenes we see it’s really humiliating for the Queen & she does often ask if the King is dead yet so as ah audience we didn’t feel much love and warmth, especially from Charlotte. The ONE heartwarming scene is honestly caused by another characters lines. So it was nice to see the Queen fight for the King & their tender moments together. I wasn’t expecting to cry at the end either 💔😭
