I have to disagree… just like all our other queer and straight folks out there everyone falls in love and is ready to commit to that love in their own time. It took me a long time to feel ok to say I love you to my now fiancé and her time because of religious in doctrine that she was being preached to at the time. The love was there… it was just time, compassion and commitment that lead to where we are today. I’m not trying to be a mood killer, just frustrates me when stereotypes of any kind are perpetuated like the idea that in lesbian time 3 months is like 3 years in straight time. It doesn’t work like that. We are all human and we all have our demons, obstacles, and emotional capacities to work with and/or through. I know straight people from within the church community who married quickly just so they could have sex under ‘God’s law’ and their marriages failed quickly and I know queer people who took much longer to form a strong committed bond before they were ready to commit fully… and vice versa. I know what trixie and katya say is for comedy purposes yet I also know they don’t hold those biases themselves. It frustrates me when any ‘group’ of people are lumped together and an something is assumed about them because they fall under that group title. We’re all different, individual and falling in love with someone of the same gender and sex as you doesn’t mean you suddenly become a different person and fit into some subset of defined characteristics. Rant over… sorry just irks me.

The fact Yoly and Mal split up so soon after the show, I personally think, shows that Yoly made a mistake in who she chose and it wasn't great for Mal, either, because Yoly didn't really look like she was super joyful accepting that proposal. At least Mal can get out there and try to find someone who appreciates Mal like M deserves. What was shocking to me was how they seriously invited Mildred after becoming violent towards their ex and no one said anything. That bitch had nerves complaining about Tiff being on dating apps after they broke up as if that is relevant after admitting to domestic violence as if nothing happened.

I remember people trying to cancel her for that and claiming she fetishized lesbians. B*tch no, she is a stan for the sapphics and in a world that hates to even say lesbian, a gay man who is supporting the girls deserves all the love.
