I wonder if they were scouting Marvin and saw Melton shut him down. Melton is a pure corner whereas Dejean will end up as a safety. I think that was their thinking.

Krueg, you nailed this evaluation. Cards traded back to 43 and took him right where you thought he would go. Kool-Aid and Lassiter went right before him. We’ll see who ends up being the best but under Gannon I wouldn’t bet against Max.

I concur with your assessment, I'm excited that he's an Arizona Cardinal. A lot of people said it was a reach, but I concur with your opinion, a great player is never a reach. There are players who are selected in the first round that never pan out and there are guys lower in the draft who were considered reaches who ended up being Hall of famers. Tom Brady is a great example of that. Not saying this kid is Tom Brady, but he hits like a Mack truck.
