the Dragoons of Draconia cards are pretty cool

I remember playing these guys in a normal pendulum deck with heart of the underdog to draw as much resources I needed like labradorite dragon since it was a high level normal tuner monster to make leo, keeper of the secret trees and star eater, those were some good times. I hope one day the story of draconia can continue with new support and maybe get one of those books that go into detail about the lore like we see with new archetype story's with snake eye's.

I've even gone one step further. The entire Deck just Normal Pendulum, 3 Heart of the Underdog, and Exodia. But Exodia isn't the only win-con, the extra deck contained the tenyi link and synchro monsters as well as sky dragon and krokodragon who both gain ATK for every card in your hand so even if I hadn't exodia in hand, I could just blast my opponent with 40k atk on the board

My theory is that somebody at Konami played too much MTG and decided to cook only to lose passion half way thru

My favorite one is the Sea Serpent. Summons big boys from the hand a little more easily.

Definitely is a good piece for Normal Pendulum. Also think it’s pretty cool to get more Sea Serpents.

Draconia is not the forgotten archtype, its my most play deck when I start learning pendulum. I had a great time playing with this archtype because it support my most favorite monster in yugioh "Garoozis"

Here's my *insane* idea for a Draconia Archetype: A deck consisting of Gemini Pendulum Monsters with a Field Spell that allows Gemini's to use their effects while still treated as Normal Monsters if they were Pendulum Summoned, that protects itself by sending face-up Draconia cards to the GY from the Extra Monster Zone or field. "Draconia Empire"

I actually used to play the dragoons in "normal pend" deck, well rendered cards always pull me in

Honestly I want to build a fun low power version of this because the art looks amazingly detailed and reminds me of mtg art. Would make a fun simple newbie pendulum deck to teach friends

The artwork makes me think of Mepedians from the Chaotic TCG

I hope they make supports for it. The art is nice it reminds me of unbreakable spirit and outer/elder entity also BA. reminds me so much of MTG.

Yeah, that’s definitely the kind of vibe I get from the art.

I never know those Dragoons have connection with Pendulum Cavalry, because I never read their vanilla text before. Their art pretty cool, and I use the Dragoons in Spiral Phantasm deck. Both of them have good synergy in play style, and maybe they can be a good character if Konami put them in the same lore.

Yeah, I always find it interesting when cards are connected by lore like that.

I loved their art grow- Wait a second An empire trying to take over the world. A union of smaller countries banding together in a frail attempt to defeat said empire. Dragoon Of Draconia DOD Is this an elaborate Drag-On Dragoon reference? I mean if it is props to that one guy.

i liked this cards a lot with some normal monster support sadly that are just 3 cards i mean nearly Clear World (2) and Darkness (1) archetype got the same amount of cards ;D

I run a Phantasm Spiral deck with these in Master Duel

Im so happy you talked about these, i was saving the promos as they came out also hoping for a full archetype to play, but was later disappointed. Maybe one day

I love these cards. There in my Heart of Exodia deck. Basically an Exodia deck with vanilla pendulum and heart of the Underdog

They could honestly build a whole Draconia archetype based around their "Normal Pendulum" gimmick, especially with how many Normal monster support they've printed. It wouldn't be meta warping, but I'd be down for an offensive pendulum deck that constantly reinforces it's field when monsters are destroyed like how Dragoons and Sea Dragoons interact when scaled together

Yeah, this guys were pretty cool, I hope OCG just revamp them like they did with noble knights, they battling against the Mermaids or Atlantians would be fun.

I wish their was at least one more monster like another that's EARTH scale 2 with another Enemy that's Scale 5

Would have been a really cool archtype and there is plenty of generic normal monster support to back them up. It's a real shame the Konami doesn't follow through with any support for non meta-non legacy cards save for a handful of stuff recently.

I love Normal Pendulum deck. I just so fun To pen for 5 and beat my enemy out of nowhere XD

I would actually run these with Rescue Rabbit and some dinos, alongside Survivals End and Paleotoics, with few more vanilla spell support, some Tenyi etc. It was a junky mess, but damn if it wasnt a fun deck.

Well "dragoons" are a type of mounted cavalry, either light or heavy, and "sky" refers to where this particular dragoon fights. So a sky dragoon is flying mounted cavalry.

@@HenshinFanatic Nope. Dragoons were a class of mobile infantry that would use a horse to move faster but dismount before engageing in Combat. Dont know how to do that in the Sky.
