    I stopped listening to Wayne Dyer about 15 maybe 20 years back. Have his books. Just listening to this ... people more concerned about what others think than what one thinks about self. It’s become a pandemic of self loathing, fear, “likes” on social media. It’s ridiculous. Anywho, I’m back on board.

    When I was on the crazy corporate advancement track, I almost ruined myself. I worked so hard to the detriment of my family life and health. I became a completely empty workaholic. I was the first college graduate and first professional in my family. I ended up burning out, quitting, traveling for a year and living overseas. I'm back on the corporate wheel, but I refuse to run a million miles an hour to help someone else get rich. And, I have a goal of jumping off in the next 5 years. I so needed to hear this today! I miss Mr Dyer.

I was supposed to have this pension 20 yrs before ! I got back pay for 3 months !!! that's what happen when demoncraps are in charge ! I got Dyers book in 1976 I thought is was a book about sex ! This is so true. Work clever and never give everything of yourself. I learned that hard way also. Now I work but I never give all of myself. I want to take the knowledge and skills that the corporation gives me, and someday work for myself. I am still learning. I am working to learn to work for myself.

    I was blessed to meet Wayne just before he passed 🙏 He said 'the intelligence that is growing your fingernails and beating your heart is doing so regardless of the color of your skin, religious beliefs or political position'. I had just begun my journey as a speaker and author and I'd never heard of him before that day. Synchronicity comes when we align with our highest truth and express ourselves without the need for validation. The more we emulate the Creator - the more it shows up in our lives. Damo xo

    Here's a rule/mandate for you "don't murder" . Morality is not individually specific. Go against that law and you will experience bruise for bruise & eye for eye. Your realizations, perspective & opinions do not change what actually is (reality). Things are not as simple to calculate the variables. Most who have 10% of the variables automatically think they have an answer to the equation. Equilibrium in all things. When pride swings perspectives to an extreme reality will rubber band it. Don't make your wind driven opinions a wrecking ball.

    @Mongoose 1980 this is what's "social media" if you don't like something, ignore it or turn elsewhere. That is your choice. There was no mandate on your beliefs. If you're writing on this social media it is for the world to see. If you want harbour a spirit of bias and seclusion from that which you dislike then my suggestion to you is to hide in your hermit cave. But I would wish for you to at least be open vs willful ignorance which equates to stupidity. And while I mean no offense, the easily offended are often offended. So, don't concentrate on the word stupidity, concentrate on the knowledge & action of it that leads to self improvement. Good day.

    Mongoose 1980 I was just about to say something similar..but you are clearly much better with words....You can call it god and we may see different and have our own name . However we all want to be decent and spread kindness....✨

  • @onestripevert

    @onestripevert

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Mongoose 1980 You are responsible to your conscience and to those you influence, not time. We can be responsible with our time but not for it. Nor are we responsible for our feelings & emotions, only how and what we induce & how we react. If hanging on to the words of another helps me to better understand or articulate then I gladly take them seriously. If you felt your words were not important enough to share you wouldnt have shared them. I myself take life very seriously. Words and actions are all I have. I want to be taken seriously, else my clamoring cymbol is just that. If not taken seriously, if there's no meaning or purpose in our words, or theres no value in what we say. Thats very nihilistic. Say what you mean, mean what you say and stand on it. Or you could stay nonchalant. The market/community rewards value,, so bring value to the table or the market will knock you off the pedestal. I don't like industry, the cash system, UN or the WHO. But this is what we have to work with. Its pushed on us daily. You don't like something or an ideal pushed on you? So what. You seem to be a very good dissenter. Either turn a blind eye or utilize whats there for whatever goal you set. Thats your choice but dont complain about it. Spew forth something positive and beneficial instead of subjective emotion as I've done here with my vomit.

    You are right the education system should be pivotal to preparing a child for life. It is the curriculum's that teachers have to follow for each grade that they are bound by, but those within the board of education that create those curriculums are more likely the ones lacking. The focus is on building skills that lead to higher education, which means better job, bigger house, more money. And on physical and sex education. I dont recall ever learning about essential skills that we need... like how to cope, how to process, feel and let go of anger, or sorrow , how to find peace especially during difficult times, how to express emotions and love, or even about positive thinking, gratitude, acceptance, and self care in general of our soul. It is a reminder of what is wrong in our society, We put too much emphasis on attaining material good, s and measuring a person on their ability to acquire that, as opposed to looking past the flashy bling, good looks or smooth talker and viewing each person with compassion, love, and empathy measuring and judging only the feelings and emotions we get from that person which should then be our compass that guides.

    @@elpacificador2852 Actually Darwin's theory has not been proven beyond doubt. In fact there is science that disproves his theory.We need to stick to what we know, and not wander into what might be. We don't need our minds blown, what we need is to get away from mind control, and get back to where we are, feet on the ground, everyday living.
