That is incredible! In the movie, the glyphs sprayed sparks from the edges. maybe you could attach small fireworks or sparklers etc. to the edges giving that effect. Idk if it would damage the device in any way, but I'm sure your mind could think of a way around it.

I have a comet about one of your old pieces of work, the deployable shield. I'm making an airsoft cosplay and that sheild would work great with it. I was going to attempt to make one but I noticed that it would stick out to much and I would need a design that was really durable.

you should integrate that into the shield coz it could distract someone so they don't hurt someone else or to get there attention or you could make a flash on the shield so you blind them

Can it deflect things? And I'd suggest adding it to your shield that collapses and pops out.

And heres my 3rd comment, the suggestion comment. A Dragonball, except not a boring dragonball, but one that actually glows, and make sure its the 4 star. And a suggestion to the suggestion, make all 7, and make sensors, so when the dragonballs are near eachother, they start pulse glowing (like in the original anime) and when all 7 are together, they just glow and wont stop glowing till you separate them.

That sounds nice, no need to be rude...

A pane of lexan over the blades would make it harder to replace the LED strips, but less likely to break from something hitting it. Just a suggestion.

do you think you could actually breakdown the drill further and make it into a gauntlet like you said but also breakdown the shield (spinny part) to where they fold individually with a restraint with a trigger that releases them (the lights) to pop-up and turn on, kind of like the persey Jackson gauntlet that he had in the clip that you showed in video 2 of the shield

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing. Did the bike spoke lights have a magnet sensor that you had to circumvent or were they stand alone. Some two spoke designs I’ve seen have a magnet you have to attach to the bike fork? The two spoke designs are cheaper, so I was thinking of getting them but can’t work out how to get by the sensor. This is fantastic and I’m sure it looks even better in real life without the video frame rate effects.

Somewhat similar to sufficiently advanced's rasengan on a larger scale. What about for another LED project, try a tron disk or other tron weapons. Some have cheated this by just adding led rings to a drone but I hope you can do a better version that returns. But not an LED boomerang. Also, just for comedy on the previous video, can you try shooting a salad from the beerzooka?

if you hacked it or made it from scratch you could probably hinge the arms so they fold in when it stops spinning.

i'm no expert, but i think you could eliminate the visible gaps in the light shield when spinning if you used a higher rpm, those cordless drills run at about 600, if you tried using something like a brushless pancake motor, you could not only get the rpm up to nearer 4 thousand, it could be more compact, maybe using a 3d printed holder for a 3s lipo battery either side of your arm, wiring them in series to make a 6s lipo to run the motor with sufficient power, of course a system would need to be made to use a brushless speed controller, without having to use a transmitter and reciever so you could run it from a simple button or dial, anyway just a thought i had, love your videos keep up the great work!

If you get an arduino by any chance you will have the ability to customise what you can display : text, logo etc... the technique is called (persistance of vision), look for "arduino POV tutorials" to learn more.
