Spider-Man has some amazing super hero reflexes, but his web shooters are a work of MAKER MINDSET put to work! He is a maker in the Spider-Man Homecoming Movie, and just a high school student! (Super Genius) His intelligence helps him stand out and fight crime. Even Iron-Man himself deems him worthy to be an AVENGER! I was inspired by Peter Parker's maker Web Shooters seen in the movie trailer that he created himself. Their clunky size makes it a most plausible build.
In this video I'll show you my sketches of the spider-man web shooters and you'll see a working prototype! It's not perfect, but the idea is to create a ROUGH prototype and then go back and design and 3D print a custom design using Autodesk Fusion360
Wow, I don't know where to start! Since last time I've added an actual launching mechanism; a CO2 Bike Pump that is concealable and easy to work with. I took inspiration from Colin Furze and his Assassins Creed Grappling Hook design. Designing a shuttle that goes down the barrel and orienting the grappling hook claws outward when fired was a genius idea.
Additionally I've added a harness to suspend myself from. At first I thought about an arm bracer, but this seems a lot safer. Now I did see Sufficiently Advanced "Soft Exoskeleton Design" and this is also very cool, maybe not safe, but still cool. To be honest it is just easier to buy a harness. I feel like I'll stick with this idea!
Next I've finally tested the 2000lb kevlar cord, and it works LIKE A CHARM! Also the LEXAN (Polycarbonate) Grapppling hook and launcher mechanism works great. I designed this in Autodesk Fusion 360 and milled it on BoXZY.
SPIDER-MAN Homecoming is going to be an awesome movie, so glad Iron-Man is included!

Put a cross pipe with a valve on the outer end instead of the T pipe. Then the bottle holders can be steady. Which will make everything much easier. Not to mention that the cross section will look cooler and will be more functional overall. (you will be able to keep everything tight, so you dont have to replace the rope every time you change the position. And have the bottles plus an external pressure pipe connected simultaneously). Also the power this will output depends greatly on how fast you can open the valves.

The design is really good but the thing is that when you pull the lever, the pressure in the barrel will increase (relatively) slowly. By the point when the triggers are fully compressed, the grappling hook would have left the barrel but without much power behind it. To really SHOOT the hook, you need to pull the triggers really fast which can't be done by hand. I would recommend you to check out the slingshot channel, specifically the 1000 joules "toy" project. There he uses rubber to instantly release the pressure valve to increase the maximize the speed of the projectile. P.S. When you are building something, instead of rambling to fill the silence, maybe select some music from the KZread library.

So if I calculated your shooter correctly thats the pressure chamber the co2 cartridges the things the co2 cartridge is in is the gas container and the pressure pad alright so when your pressure pad is pressed it moves the tube releasing the string opening the gas container shooting out the co2 cartridge out shooting through the pressure chamber to the grapple hook out at an high level of force or psi
