There's actually condition called misophonia that causes people to find certain noise virtually unbearable. I'm pretty sure I have it. People who make sounds when they eat enrage me. It isn't just annoying, it's much worse than that. It irritates my nervous system or something.

Did you listen to the reason she's concerned? The daughter "can't" (more like DOESN'T) have any responsibility as an adult. She refuses to cook, clean, do anything in the house! She's completely irresponsible & the mom is afraid (as I would be too) that if she has a baby, the daughter is going to continue to be lazy & the mom will have to take care of the baby for her. Just like she does for everything else.

I see so much of my mother in this women. The only thing that makes her happy is making other people miserable. And when she can't outright do it she will cause things to start fights moving things hiding things saying little things here and there just to get things going so she can get her fixed. Sad really my mother right now lives in a home by herself and nobody ever sees or talks to her. Because nobody not even her family can't stand her

What she needs is for all of those loved ones living around her who she abuses to move away from her and find their happiness without her. It will show her exactly how much she contributes to the stress in their family, and hopefully have her stop taking her family for granted.

Khalood thinks she’s right and puts all the blame on everyone else, but she needs to understand that she’s a human being and she makes mistakes too. I think she needs to take responsibility for her own actions, taking a good look at her words and actions and think to herself “maybe I do something wrong. If I am wrong, how should I go about apologizing to my daughter and son in law appropriately and what should I do to learn from my mistakes and improve? What can I do to make the situation better?” I also think she needs to listen to Dr. Phil, accept his advice, and put it into practice.
