he's definitely a narsissist. bet he won't share his financial and personal details because 1) he's broke and hiding it 2) he has a bunch of other girls on the side he doesn't want her to know about. keeping her poor, is just away to keep her around. getting her pregnant forces her to depend on him for financial support. preventing people from her who would support her might give her encouragement to leave him. all classic methods of narcissism control.

This was 5 years ago ..... I hope she didn't settle and stay with him! I hope she ran far far away! She deserves better!

I've always seen myself as old school in the sense that a man should work to provide security and stability for his family. I got married at seventeen and we are now going to celebrate twenty seven years happily married. I always encouraged my girl to chase her dreams and be herself.

You can have a relationship providing and not have strict rules. The author of this post never stated he was supporting strict rules. Everyone rules their home differently, my husband and I coequally rule our home and make rules. We both provide for each other, and if you cannot physically work, then fine, you can do housework or find a job to work from home. There is nothing wrong with old school so long as the couple doesn't try to imprison one another like this couple on the Dr. Phil show. Now quit being negative with your assumptions! Be positive!
