Their restaurant failed. They moved out to Cali to open another restaurant which also failed. Legend has it if you go to the vacant building where their first bakery once stood you can actually hear the delusional excuses to this day.

Here's what makes this so funny and ironic Sammy himself was a career criminal for drugs and has been banned in multiple countries particularly Germany and France. As for Amy, she was indicted in 2003 for bank fraud and identity theft.

I remember 1 of my close friends going there. He went in . He was seated. Got a menu, ordered…. His soda that he ordered? Flat. Amy refused to give soda that wasn’t flat… she said: this is how rich people drink it After 45 minutes. No food. She claimed she forgot. He was the ONLY PERSON there. Another half hour. No food. She claimed she couldn’t find everything. My friend left. Paid the few bucks for the soda. She threatened to call police because he was threatening to her daily life… She forgot the other staff saw and heard everything. She got a good talking to about misusing 911. She claimed she didn’t call it and it was a prank phone call. While still being on the phone with whoever answered HER 911 call. When officers pointed this out to her. She shut up real fast , went back inside, grabbed her belongings, stormed out saying: Everyone is against me! Nobody understands my side of things! I can’t control hackers and pranks. While STILL BEING on the phone with whoever answered the 911 call. Her: I didn’t do it! It’s a prank Reality: but you’re doing it right now, we see you and hear you.

So I’m a pro musician and was on the road. This restaurant was in walking distance to my hotel in Scottsdale, so I went with our tour manager Geno. We both got pizzas. There were frozen provolone cheese clumps all over it. I politely asked our server if we could get them reheated. The dude came over from out of nowhere and grabbed the pizzas and dumped them in the trash next to the hostess stand and told us to get out. Geno is the sweetest dude in the world but he was seething and would have snapped that dude’s neck, so I got him out of there. And I am proud to say I was one of their very first Yelp reviews. I actually created that account just for Amy and her miserable cheap cologne smelling jerkoff husband. ( I used the same name as my KZread channel name. I believe it’s still up)

I’ve been a proud cop for nearly 9 years now I have been getting complaints about that restaurant my high ranking officers have been hearing about this place too they were talking about shutting them down

@Jon Hesson how does that work? they don't tell people off the street they are going to this or that restaurant. the only people who know are the restaurant owners since they ask them to come. so unless these people sat around waiting, or pitched up only when they saw the film crew setting up? sorry but either case doesn't make sense.

Perfect couple....covering up for each other's toxic brains.

I personally think they should put Amy on a season of Big Brother.

What I found most ironic about this episode was that the kitchen was clean the restaurant was presentable and the fridge was organized and the reason it failed was because of their attitudes and the way they treat their staff and customers. The one restaurant Gordon didn't even try to help save.

Apparently in the episode, that guy was waiting for over an hour for it with his friend, and when he asked Samy, Samy started yelling and the customer started yelling back I also remember in the episode where Samy goes to the back and asks Amy where the pizza was, but since Amy decides to only make one meal from a ticket at a time, she forgets to put it in the oven, there's a bit where she suddenly chucks one pizza in the oven real quick (after Samy asked) and Amy says that the pizza was cooking and the customer can suck it 😂 Then the fighting started, Amy tells that she was gonna call the police but Samy didn't want them coming for some reason lol

@@Satchel5167 Samy actually pulled a knife on a customer once after the show and the police was indeed called. They're both nutjobs, honestly. Samy is banned from entering Germany and France due to drug trafficking, extortion and threats made in Europe (I suppose he lived there for a while). Amy also has a criminal record and actually spent time in federal prison due to the misuse of a social security number (and faking identity if I recall well) in order to make a loan. Considering the activity at ABC's, how they stole the tips and nobody else but Samy was allowed to use the POS, it's safe to assume the restaurant was used as a front for money laundering. Amy even gingerly admitted Samy invested over 1 million dollars in ABC and they still had money during the 2008 recession, a time when many other businesses were struggling. Shady af

As someone who lived off of tips for years, I find it absolutely horrible that they took tips from the servers. I’m editing this almost a year later, thank you for all the likes. I lived in Tennessee when this happened, I forgot to mention that I was also looking after my ill mother. I live in Alaska now with a happy family and great job. It angers me that they’ve actually been invited on the show and made money from it, only thing they deserve after disrespecting Gordon was the silent treatment to see how long they would survive

That doesn't necessarily indicate that at all. Amy may have been the victim as a child of neglect and abuse. When faced with this trauma, children will sometimes take fight as the only option in the instinctual fight or flight response humans have. Children sometimes cannot escape a situation so they learn to fight. That may be Amy's problem. Your attempt at guessing her life is very non-empathic and mental health professionals avoid that biased thinking.

Would you still say, "Well, she was neglected and abused as a child so let's try and be empathic"? Would a mental health professional defend a molester and say the same thing? I would hope not! I'm making judgements on her actions now. Let's say Amy was 100% abused and neglected as a child. Would I feel empathy? Absolutely! But, now as an adult she has had time to recognize how that made her feel as a child. She should have an awareness of her actions towards people as an adult. A good person would take the horrible thing that has happened to them and make sure that they didn't treat anyone else that way. It does not give her the right to act like this. She's a spoiled brat. People would be empathetic if her personality dictated it. I don't feel empathy for sexual predators or a**holes.

2014: "These people were actors." 2021: "They were all the people that were bullying us online."

“We’re like snakes …. You prod us and you’ll get bitten” is probably not the best motto for someone going into the service industry.

They are both still in denial. Gordon did the right thing by walking out on them.

Customer: "Excuse me, my food is undercooked" Waitress: "I'm sorry, I'll take it back to the kitchen" Amy: "We're being ATTACKED, my food is EXCELLENT!" Sammy (to customer): "GET THE F_CK OUT OF HERE!"

She compared herself to a snake. In general this makes sense, the bakery is like a snake's den, therefore, non-toxic food (apart from bait in the form of sweets) is not observed, and falling into that trap results into the client's poisoning, after which he must leave either money or faith in people as a necessary sacrifice to get out of there without physical injuries. It is good that they're closed now, many more people could've suffered.

I disagree, it's all about wavelength and energy is how people are attracted to one another. If they have the same two elements there is an attraction. You and your partner can have different interests and professions but still, be attracted to one another and get along. You and your friends can get along but be attracted to different people. In this couple's case, no real man would want to deal with a woman like that and would have the backbone to tell her the truth. You can clearly tell that she is a gold digger that is toxic and immature and Sammy is a simp that is willing to provide and be bossed around by her because he doesn't want to be lonely and she is taking advantage of him to get what she wants, like her restaurant. I guarantee you she does not like him but no real guy wants her so that's why she is with him because of his finances, once he loses his finances, she will leave or once she is willing to find a guy that will provide for her and is better than Sammy, she will go.

it's like amy is a level above karens. she's got a league of her own
