Honestly, the interpretation of how Eggman felt depressed after killing Sonic is kind of a neat explanation as to why he enjoys defeating Sonic, but never bothered to actually kill him (and even his attempts at actually killing him always ends in failure). He needed an enemy to feel superior over. To him, conquering worlds and defeating his enemies is a routine. If the Freedom Fighters were dead and if the world is destroyed, he'd have no one else to feel superior over.

Great video. I adore Archie's take on the doctor. He was much more sinister and unhinged than the original Robotnik, and the ability to hop between bodies made him essentially immortal. Even after Robotropolis was nuked by Station Square, he came back stronger than ever. There was just no stopping the guy. Operation: Clean Sweep even left the planet vulnerable to roboticization again after the Bem rendered it useless. Had the reboot not happen, I would have loved to see him return to his robotic form.

You just don't know what Japanese version of Robotnik can do, he looks funny but that doesn't mean he isn't a really serious threat. In classic games and adventure games he ain't playing clown, he literally could kill anyone who stands in his way.

So from what I get: an alternate Robotnik roboticized himself then he took another robotic body but later became an Overlander, no wonder why he doesn't feel like the same Eggman from the games

It would explains why he never dies when his inventions explodes in his face he doesn't die. His fortress crashed while he was on it he didn't die. And the death egg crashed and he still didn't die. And it explains why robotnik ALWAYS out runs sonic after he destroys his boss battle badniks.

The Pre-Adventure American Eggman Design is in a Similar Position as Japanese Crash & Angry American Kirby in a Regional Market.

Yea I honestly agree! I think hes a robot and not human. I mean he kind of doesnt really seem human

well, using unthinking animals as components for robots, followed by roboticizing everything with free will to consolidate your power, probably would have a side effect of intellectual laziness in the mad scientist himself. if your thinking slows down, the robots need to be nerfed to maintain your control over them, but you no longer have the competitive advantage necessary to do so.

Well, this does make sense as to why Robotnik and Eggman look so different.

Yeah, the Archie comics always tried to make reasons for design changes. For instance, Sonic got his green eyes/adventure design by running faster than time, causing him to develop faster. And Amy Rose went from 8 to 12 by getting a wish granted.

That's is very true. When the Sonic movie trailer come out Movie Eggman or Movie Ivo Robotnik is not a robot he is a human after coming out the truck from the trailer and loves machine. ( Don't worry guys I will not say a lot from the movie I know some of you all didn't see it don't worry I understand. ) In the Archie comics he was a human he loves building robots In the Sonic the Comic his real name Ovi Julian Kintobor he was a human after he found Sonic when a lab accident happen after he have a ugly egg on his hand he fusion with it lost his hair and then human a mad man human hate that hedgehog in TAOSTH, Sonic SAM and Sonic Underground he is a human but when Sonic and Sally go back in time Sonic just roboticized his right arm he is a half cyborg human. After the alien kidnapping Snively, Eggman, Sonic and Tails I guess Eggman lost his metal skin he only have human skin flesh, blood, blood cell and more like a real human but in everyone movie, games and show bad guys make a back up plan or well his way and his theme song he got a master plan to put his mind and conscious in a shell or a robot body so he can be unstoppable.
