Dr. Dre didn't make N.W.A, Eric Wright started it all after years of Dre approaching him to invest in his music so he can leave World Class Wrecking Crew. Jimmy Iovine definitely didn't have anything to do with making N.W.A as well, he came into the picture when Suge Knight was looking for a distribution deal for The Chronic album and greeted Jerry Heller who was sent by Eric to Interscope offices to make a deal in regards to get % off any Dr. Dre production for the next 6 years. Sorry, buddy

I really appreciate watching Dre be inspired by things that Mr. Iovine says. Like it puts into perspective that we should never stop learning from others. The true goats are never the loudest the true goats are more often than not the quietest because they are the ones listening so whenever it does become their turn to speak they will have something profound to actually say. This interview just kept that hunger for knowledge burning inside me and reminded me that when those that have what you want start talking you need to listen because if you immitate greatness you will become great yourself.

I truly believe school should be a positive experience that kids enjoy participating in. If the kids are disliking school, then we are failing them. Because challenges in life don’t need to be negative experiences. And the more positive the experience, the more the student will gain from it. I just love these two artists/business mogul’s outlook and approach to life. They truly are paragons of success in the western world. The way they embrace each other’s cultures and differences to fill the gaps in their own lives. The way they seek the positive in themselves, in their endeavours, that should be taught. That should be canon. To have their wisdom available on KZread for us to learn from is such a gift. This is the peak benefit of the Information Age.
