I’m a huge fan of Dr. Lisle and have read “The Pleasure Trap” several times. I always enjoy hearing him speak. It was interesting to learn in today’s video about how fear of association with eugenics prevented development of evolutionary psychology in academia. That dude is so smart!

Did he give any tips on what to do after the first 6 or so weeks with people? You do the whole "it's an experiment" thing to make them more comfortable, but then what? Now it's real, and now they'll be threatened/upset, no? At least with acquaintances, etc., you can just joke about it so they don't feel threatened, but with close family, I think it is much more difficult.

Ha ha that is funny, but that is not why I was brushing my forehead. It must have been 95 degrees in that room when we got started with the interview, and thankfully it did not take too long for the AC to cool it down in there. I was sweating hard.

if this were true ....would we not be salivating over a pound of lard.....i know i am not. we are flavour oriented. rather than calory density. otherwise all fat bpeople would be running for bottles of cooking oil rather than coke.
