watched on Atlantic last night. He 'Nick Broomfield' allows the story to unfold as his interviewees slowly open up and the full horrific background which affected this neighbourhood for decades is shown in detail that avoids exploitation and judgment. To anyone who thinks Broomfield talks too lightly about such a serious subject doesn't know the nature of the Brits who often mask their deeper feelings with a shrugging humour. The people involved who did participate regardless of circumstance, chosen or pursued, do retain IMHO a dignity even to the point where they reveal actions or acceptance of situations that will appear to many of us who are fortunate to live in very different surroundings, quite disturbing. Sincere thanks for showing this interview.

Such a good doco. I really liked the woman Pam. She was really genuine and showed the sex workers respect. Interesting layers of silence from both the police and the mistrust of police causing the public not to speak up.

my books are out although I'm not finished with the last one the first one is called the Los Angeles serial killer capture new and the second one is called the family Legacy tracking a serial killer both by RJ Pxxxxxx or RJ Johnson on Amazon. Also Laio Chantelle Morris and I have an interview on this capture. Please donate to Nick Broomfield's gofundme for a memorial in stone for the victims to be in South Los Angeles. So these victims are not forgotten

My book wouldnt come out because the trial was so late But the media surely got their views across, which were half done with little knowledge of the true story

That's why you watch the movie. My effort is not to create a trailer for the film. Sorry you didn't care for it.

Yes, Pam was the star of the documentary. This interviewer is awful. If Nick had a temper, he should have left or gave a sideways look.

Interesting interview, the interviewer seems like a smart, decent guy, but at times he talks a little too much / interrupts a little too much. (Watch again and count the times Nick gets stopped almost in mid sentence or before starting another sentence, by a comment or yet another question from the interviewer). He (interviewer) imo needs to give Broomfield more room to reflect and flow with his thoughts. Even Charlie Rose does this sometimes during interviews and I find it irritating. The SUBJECT should imo be the sole focus of an interview, and should be allowed to "ramble" a bit more and even at times flow off-topic. That often can be when the really good stuff happens. You can always cut / edit if the subject rambles too much or gets lost and goes quiet. Please stop interrupting / commenting as much or quickly pushing on to the next question and let the subject get a little deeper into his comments. Other than that, I'm a fan of many of Broomfield's docs and enjoyed the interview.

there was hardly one mention of any of the victims of this serial killer, i did not learn on thing about the actual case itself besides the glamours lifestyle of its director.
