We wanted to make a video to remember the Toronto condo we made our home from 2016-2021. Now off to our first house in Edmonton!

I love that you have been able to find a spot and an area for each element without it being cluttered or saturated. I'm currently redesigning my living room based on an open-concept floor plan and I also intend to include the gym area, home office, entertainment center, reading nook and dining room. Sounds like a lot, but I'm hopeful of achieving good results. I ordered a Bellini sofa from Manhattan Home Design because I think it's what can give me more functionality, since it's a modular sofa. Thanks for the tour. Very interesting.

Love this! Moving into a 520 sq ft condo next year and I’ve been worried about the size but this place looks perfect for me. Layout is super similar of what I bought too!

Awesome! Hopefully if gave you some ideas of what you can do with your place. We even had more room before having to include a home office and gym. It's definitely possible to make any size space work (within reason)!

Thank you for the tour! It may be small, but you two are extremely neat and organized (awesome!) which makes this small space work. You also have an awesome view of City Hall, with Nathan Phillips Square. All the best in your new house in Edmonton! Please do another video once you get settled to show us how you are handling all of the newly acquired space!

Nice and helpful video. I'm trying to see how big this type of space is. It's not bad. Just a note, the music in the intro was very loud compared to the rest of the video when you're speaking.

We got it from IKEA about 4 years ago! I don't see it on their website anymore, but it is the HEMNES Secretary with add-on-unit. Here is a link to it being sold on a third-party website: www.carousell.sg/p/ikea-hemnes-secretary-with-add-on-unit-white-stain-145025023/

What is the average rent for a condo like this in the financial district? And it'd be great if you can share your rent with us for this condo. Thanks.

Average rent in this area for a 1 bedroom would typically be $2100-2200/month. We pay $1900, which is below average because we have been here for awhile. However, due to everything this year average rent is probably closer to what we are paying!

It's been great living in Toronto, but we're ready to settle down in a smaller, quieter, and more affordable city! We're not very big city people, so we're excited for the change and to have more room! :)
