He also had a really great reaction to smells. Most actors will act disgusted at first but then they kind of forget that the bad smell is supposed to be there and they act normally, but this is what it's really like. Flip did such a good job

7:39....the most realistic reaction I've ever seen in a horror film

I feel like the security guard is ACTUALLY how somebody would act in this situation - minus going into a dark basement but I mean obviously this is needed for a horror film 🤣

THAT is how you infuse comedic moments into horror. Loved it. This had the perfect balance. Hilariously likable character injecting the perfect amount of comedy at the perfect times without it becoming ridiculous or cheesy, creepy plot, suspense, jump scares without it being cheap or overdone. This is how its done. Brilliant job.

This security guard was INCREDIBLE. Like, 1,000% believable I would have never known he was acting. That part at 7:11 when he walked backwards when he heard the sound in the vents. And then the other part at 7:44 when he turned and said "whaaaat the f*** was that" was ON POINT. He was good 👍 👏

Security guards are always unlucky in almost every show and novel, lol. Great job.

I love how the acting was on point, I'm sure most of us would act that way when met with a nightmarish event. P. S. The sound design and plot really reminds me of puppet combo's works.

Last Shift One of the best random indie horror movies I've come across. Seems most people haven't even heard of it outside of horror enthusiast. Its a shame really, it's done really well for random, low budget type find.

Your short horror film is amazing . Not many horror films use comedy for the reason it might take away atmosphere that is build up for the scares but you've executed the comedy so well with suspense and horror that it blended so perfectly , thank you so much for this film. PS. The film had a touch of Ti West the Inkeepers , as in comedy, character building, and scares. Also you got a great actor to portray your character.

This was one of my favorite horror films. Including the full-length ones. I think it could easily become an amazing full-length movie.

This might be my favorite horror short of all time. The acting is top notch stuff. The ending made me sad because I want sequel adventures with this character. Lots of different situations, all with him reacting as only Flip can.

Oh my goodness, that was GREAT! Funny, scary. For a short--solid character development. The security guard was hilarious. Very suspenseful cinematography. That tiny cat painting at the end kills me, ROFL! He had that pretentious wannabe artiste thing down pat!

Dylan, the beauty of shorts like this is the lack of depth. There's no 15 minutes of character development, no backstory, no introspective gaze into "why' the ghosts act the way they do, no emotional attachment to a character, what is happening right now is all that matters. The ambiguity leaves you w/o an opinion one way or another about whether a character dies

Come on! That security dude was just so fun, i really wanted him to make it out this time but it didn't happen.

Love the mix of horror and comedy, a really fun watch. And omg, Caitlin Rielly! The moment I saw the dead girl I knew it was her and I just checked IMDB and I was right! She's so good.

This had so much personality. It was like classic horror with all the unashamed cheesy tropes but felt totally unapologetic about recreating the classic 80s horror vibe I love this so much haha. Hit me up if you ever need a film composer

Another great horror one with a slice of comedy. Keep up the great work

It seems like the security guard was born to play this part!! He was fantastic! This one was a real winner!

The part where he tries to escape the what I like to call "basement of doom", should be part of a videogame

This is really good. The humor reminded me sort of Evil Dead and the ghost hunter guy from Insidious. It was really suspenseful too

It reminded me of the original evil dead too. I loved the security guy he was freaking funny, and a great protagonist.

Officer Flip made this short the little gem it is! I would happily watch any short he stars in, this guy is great! He belongs in Super Troopers!

loved it! that security officer had me laughing throughout the film. very suspenseful film
